Terrorism has been practiced by a broad array of political organizations worldwide.

It has been practiced by both right-wing and left-wing political parties, nationalistic

& religious groups, revolutionaries, and ruling governments. The symbolism of

terrorism can exploit human fear to help achieve their unlawful goals. The concept

of terrorism may be controversial as it is often used by state authorities to

delegitimize political or other opponents, and potentially legitimize the state's own

use of armed force against opponents. Terrorism in India begins after it got

independence in 1947. Some of the Indian states like Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, all

the North East Indian states are worst affected by terrorism. The Naxlite activities

in Andhra Pradesh, Odisa, Bihar, West Bengal, Chattisgarh & Jharkhand has made

the life of people insecure and unstable. The current scenario of terrorism is that

growing and is expanding unabated.

In recent years the relationship between human rights and environmental issues

have become issues of vigorous debate. The link between the two emphasizes that

a decent physical environment is a precondition for living a life of dignity and

worth. More concretely, a decent physical environment has to do with protection

from noise nuisance, air and water pollution, and dumping of toxic substances.

Environmental degradation and human rights were first placed on the

international agenda in 1972, at the UN Conference on the Human Environment.

Principle 1 of the 'Stockholm Declaration on the Human Environment' establishes a

foundation for linking human rights and environmental protection, declaring that

man has a 'fundamental right to freedom, equality and adequate conditions of life.

Sexual harassment has been a pervasive global problem for women throughout

history. Women around the world are beginning to tell their stories and expose the

pervasiveness of sexual harassment in their societies. Sexual harassment affects

women's mental and physical health as well as their social and economic status.

The level of tolerance for sexual harassment varies from culture to culture. In fact,

sexual harassment psychologically hurts the women involved and the work

atmosphere. The need of hour is to provide proper legal consultancy to the victims

though national women's organizations, specialized employee interest groups,

law schools, legal aid community services etc.
