The Cadaver skill lab provides 'near life –like' fresh cadavers, where Surgeons get to do surgical procedures under supervision of senior mentors who teach & guide to help develop the con�dence to conduct the same procedure on a patient.

Course description:New biologic materials and techniques are changing the face of implant surgery. This comprehensive course will review techniques and advancements in soft and hard tissue grafting including indications, treatment planning, techniques and an update in soft & hard tissue anatomy. This course will highlight some new surgical techniques which are showing great improvements in patient comfort, post-operative healing, graft stability and esthetic improvement. The session will then focus the technique of bone augmentation prior to, during and following implant placement. It will consist of learning an evidence-based surgical approach for maxillary sinus augmentation utilizing lateral wall and osteotome techniques. Also Zygoma implants as a Graftless solution will be discussed.The key highlight of the course will be hands-on on human cadavers, preserved in a state of the art facility which would give the participants an actual close feel of working on a real live patient.

Dr. Anjan Kumar ShahDr Anjan Shah is an Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon with a special interest in Head & Neck surgery. He specialises in facial reconstruction with microvascular �aps and rehabilitation with implants.He completed his dentistry from Government Dental College, Bangalore in 1994, and followed this with a Masters in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery from Nair hospital Dental College, Mumbai.Subsequently he moved to UK to complete his Fellowships. He has trained and worked at Southampton University and Ipswich hospital. He has a certi�cate of Implantology training from Sheffield University.He hold 3 fellowships, 2 from the English and Irish Royal colleges and one in Implantology.Dr Anjan shah is head of the department of Implantology at Rajarajeswari Dental College, Bangalore and runs a one year certi�cate programme in implantology under Rajiv Gandhi university.He is also a mentor for Nobel Biocare and has guided a number of dentists into developing implants in their practice.

Dr. Tarun Kumar A.B.Dr. Tarun Kumar is a well known Periodontist with a special interest in the �eld of soft tissue esthetics pertaining to Dental Implantology.He is the registered ITI (Basel,Switzerland) speaker. He has more than 100 national and international lectures to his credit & has more than 40 publications in National and International Journals.He is a well respected faculty for implant & soft-tissue based aesthetic programs across various institutions.He has been awarded the fellowship as well as Diplomate from the International Congress of Oral Implanologists.

He is accredited as expert Implantologist of European association of dental implantologistsHe also has a Fellowship from World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone surgery.

Currently, he is associated with Bapuji Dental College as an Associate Dean- Academics, as well as the Professor & Head, Bapuji Implant Centre,
