Hubio Regulatory Reporting Accelerator
Hubio is proud to be a Guidewire partner. With the status of PartnerConnect Solution Select, Hubio is working with Guidewire to develop a Regulatory Reporting Accelerator to meet Canadian IBC, GAA and RSP requirements.
The accelerator provides a pre-built, Hubio and Guidewire approved extraction solution that identifies and obtains the necessary data from Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter in a fast, accurate, and secure manner.
The accelerator will ensure insurance carriers that the right data is extracted, and the information necessary to meet regulatory demands is obtained in a timely manner.
The information can then be forwarded to regul8, which transforms the information and, through the operation of the insurer, submissions are made to the regulator.
Development is well underway at Hubio, with a delivery target within months.

communicating with brokers, agents, policy holders and third parties.
The technology is engineered to drive growth, reduce costs and,
in a nimble manner, deal with change in pursuit of improved

Why use the Regulatory Reporting Accelerator?
Sharply reduces time and money. Without the accelerator, insurers need to either use their valuable resources to develop a regulatory reporting solution or resort to the necessity of retrieval of the data from ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter, manual summarization of the results, editing, re-keying, and submission to a third party. The most efficient route is clear.
Improves speed. Information taken directly from the systems of record, and made available to government and regulatory bodies, improves the timeliness of response.

Enhances accuracy and consistency. The accelerator is combined with regul8, Hubio’s proven regulatory reporting solution. regul8 applies algorithms to sort and group the data extracted directly from the core Guidewire systems, summarize and present it in a pre-defined, accurate, proven and acceptable manner.
Meet data requirements in a different structure and format to that available from PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter. Hubio Regulatory Reporting Accelerator stores feedback and avoids the repetition of previous errors.
Oversight of the submissions process through an easy-to-use and highly functional interface that reports on all forms of activity.

Three Main Technical Components
Reporting Line Configuration: This component is responsible for determining what source data will be required from the policy and claim data models for the fulfillment of regulatory reporting.
Data Formatting: This external component takes the transaction level source information and restructures the data into risk level onset and offset information.
Web Interface Extract: The formatted data, after being written to the staging database, is extracted by the regul8 web service as scheduled on a per-client basis and transformed into the appropriate regulatory submission, leveraging the regul8 data transformation engine.
