change. Beyond that, many young people don’t haverepresentation in media and entertainment, as these outlets tend to

portray broad stereotypes about we who are - and aren't. But we know that young people are diverse, driven, anddetermined to have a lasting impact . Many of us work tirelessly tomake the world a better place: creating new ideas, starting newprojects, and overcoming persistent challenges along the way,including racism, homophobia, sexism, income inequality,immigration, and so much more.

HURRY UP AND WAIT will shine a much-needed light on adiverse group of young people chasing their dreams, and willengage our audience in funny, fascinating, and thought-provokingstories along the way.

HURRY UP AND WAIT follows a group of driven and diverse

Millennial entrepreneurs – with roots that span oceans andcontinents, from Iran to South Africa to Mexico – all aspiring to

“make it” and make a difference in Los Angeles.

Jared Milrad is an award-winning actor, producer, lawyer, andsocial entrepreneur with thousands of followers and more than 10million views worldwide. Trained at The Second City and withleading acting studios in LA, Jared recently wrapped an upcomingfeature, BETTER CRIMINAL, which stars Tom Sizemore, and alead role on ID Network's MURDER BOOK. He was featured inHillary Clinton's historic presidential campaign announcementvideo, and appeared in dozens of major media outlets, includingThe New York Times, MSNBC, BBC News, and TIME. Jaredworked in The White House for President Barack Obama andfounded a nationally recognized non-profit organization endorsedby Peter Buffett and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra DayO’Connor. Having raised more than $250,000 to support varioussocial causes, Jared graduated with highest honors from N.C. StateUniversity, Tufts University, and Northeastern University Schoolof Law. He currently lives in Southern California with his husband,

Sarah Franke is a director based in Los Angeles. She began making“films” before the age of 10 using her family’s DV camcorder. Shehoned her skills and further developed her passion for filmmakingwhile attending high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts,where she majored in Media Arts. Sarah then went on to earn herbachelor’s degree in Film Production from Loyola MarymountUniversity. Sarah has experience in a variety of different

production roles, and she has been involved with productions forMore Media, CollegeHumor, FX, and HBO.

Meredith Yinger is a born and raised Los Angeleno actor, producer,and writer who has a love for documentaries and mockumentaries.

She has studied at the Actors Circle, Margie Haber Studios, andwith actor and teacher Barry Primus. Meredith recently graduatedfrom Loyola Marymount University with two bachelor’s degrees inFilm/TV Production and Communication Studies. Meredithrecently created, produced, and hosted a web series for TeamRubicon, a veteran-based non-profit organization helping respondto natural disasters. She is a go getter, guac-addict filmmaker outto change the world.

Kristin Wurzel is a nurse, actress, producer, and writer. She enjoystaking care of others and is passionate to inspire humanity throughher work in film. Some of her favorite credits include HUMANSVS. ZOMBIES, A BEAUTIFUL THING, and ALTER EGO. She

is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where shetrained in acting and nursing. In addition to playing KateWentworth in HURRY UP AND WAIT, Kristin is excited to beco-writing and associate producing the series.

Buyi Mazibuko is a South African born actor with a careerspanning over 20 years. Her credits include the true story filmMANDELA: LONG WALK TO FREEDOM alongside Idris Elba,and CATCH A FIRE directed by Phillip Noyce and starring TimRobbins. She was nominated for the Best Actress In A Drama Award for the officially selected MAN ON GROUND for theToronto Film Festival. She also recently worked as a dialect coach

on CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS. Buyi was alsoselected to be in the drama judging panel for The InternationalEmmy Awards 2014 and sat in the judging panel for South Africa'sSAFTA's (South African Film & TV Awards) for 4 consecutiveyears. She has also served as a casting director. After a successfulacting career in South Africa, Buyi is now based in Los Angeles.

Denver Marcus started acting in 2013 when he joined PlayhouseWest Acting School in Los Angeles. Since then he has starred in anumber of short films and commercials, the most recent beingTHE BOMB, an AFI short film. He has also produced and directeda YouTube comedy channel called BUD LEAF and later co-produced, co-directed and acted on a channel called BRANDONAND MARCUS.

Devlin Andrews (a.k.a. Doll) is an LA based actor, model, anddrag performer. Devlin is also a noted YouTube personality with

more than 200,000 views, providing videos teaching on topics ofsexual education, LGBTQ+ activism, and youth counseling,

allowing him the opportunity to lecture at colleges across theMidwest on the same topics. He has been featured fororganizations such as the It Gets Better Campaign, Trevor Project,and One Love. Devlin was recently seen in the North HollywoodArts Center production of SPRING AWAKENING, where hisportrayal of the role Hanschen was named the standoutperformance by LA theatre mogul Steven Stanley. Devlingraduated with a bachelor’s in Musical Theatre Performance and aminor in American Sign Language from Columbia CollegeChicago. Look out for his web series, THE DOLL MACABRE, acomedic review of horror films to be released in May.

Lex Montgomery is a successful actor, chef, and entrepreneur. She

recently played Clara Johnson on SPEAKING FOR THE DEAD,premiering early summer 2016, and SHATRONDRA on All DefDigital's Hood Lessons (produced by Russell Simmons). She istrained in MMA boxing/kick-boxing, a former competitive dancer& runner, and she wrote an Amazon-bestselling cookbook, THECAJUN CAVEMAN: The Best Cajun Cookbook for the PaleoDiet.

Shan Liljestrand is a Los Angeles-based cinematographerspecializing in narrative and commercial work. Growing up inHawaii, and attending Loyola Marymount University’s School ofFilm and Television, he has trained to focus on the story withevery project he takes on. His clients include Mattel, ComedyCentral, Disney, and Funny or Die. His latest feature film, FEARINC., is premiering at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.

Jake O'Neal is a multi-instrumental music producer whospecializes in original music production, composition, sound

design, and audio engineering. His music can be heard worldwideand has been featured on national TV shows including BAD

GIRLS CLUB and TOTAL DIVAS. Jake has played in andrecorded numerous bands, and also produces music as a solo artistunder the name Drip Lines.

We're thrilled to announce a partnership with the world-famousMetropolis Studios, a music production company based in Londonthat has worked with Adele, U2, Stevie Wonder, The RollingStones, Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Disclosure, Amy Winehouse, LadyGaga, John Legend, Jay-Z, R.E.M., and Led Zeppelin, and manyothers. Metropolis will produce the score and engineer the musicfor Hurry Up and Wait .
