Additional information

We supply a Teacher Naturalist, access to a refrigerator/freezer and a party space (inside or out) for up to 1 hour after the program.

Food, refreshments and decorations are up to you. Sorry no balloons. Trash is carry-in, carry-out.

About our Teachers Naturalists

Our Teacher Naturalists have extensive experience with both natural history and teaching children.

Chaperones should plan on assisting the Teacher Naturalist with group management.

Popular year round activities: Ponding: Explore life under the water in the marsh! Search for insects and other creatures that live in the marsh.

Nature walk: Explore the different habitats at Broadmoor. Search for animals and their signs in the marsh, field and forest.

When can I schedule a program?

Days We schedule birthday programs year round. Programs are available weekdays and weekends. Weekend dates are dependent on instructor availability. We are closed Mondays.

Times Programs may be scheduled weekdays after 9am, and weekends, after 10:00 am. All programs must end by 5:00 p.m., unless specifically arranged or for evening programs.

Where are programs held?

The majority of our programs are designed to take place outside, so please plan to dress appropriately. If weather makes outdoor activities unsafe, we will modify or reschedule the program.

What are the program fees?

Day programs** Up to 2 hrs $70.00 first 10 people (8 youth, 2 chaperones) Each additional child or adult is $7.00

3 hours $80.00 first 10 people (8 youth, 2 chaperones) Each additional child or adult is $8.00

Evening programs (1.5 hours)** $95.00 first 10 people (8 youth, 2 chaperones) Each additional child or adult is $9.50

**Recommended group size: up to 15 youth
