Who are we?The Military Counseling Networkis a non-profit, civilian organiza-tion based in Germany. MCN ispart of a non-military network oforganizations prepared to providefree counseling to those soldierswho are questioning going to waror want to know more about milit-ary discharges and regulations.
What do we do?We are ready to respond to ques-tions, provide guidance and helpfind legal information for mem-bers of the U.S military. Soldierscan contact us for information ona variety of discharges from milit-ary service. We can also help youknow your rights regardingAWOL, and finding PTSD help.
How can we help?A counselor can discuss the vari-ous discharges with you, help youdecide if one is good for you, ex-plain procedures, work with youto gather the necessary docu-ments, and support youthroughout the process. Whethergetting out is what you need, orjust knowing your rights, we arehere to help.
You may be able to bedischarged if:-you have a persistant phys-ical or psychological condi-tion that interferes withmilitary service.-you generally object towar.-you are lesbian, gay, trans-gender, or bisexual.-you or your dependants ex-perience an unusual hard-ship because of militaryservice.-you meet the criteria forother discharges under mil-itary regulations.
