Instructions to candidates appearing in BITS- HD 2016 Online
tests
Dear candidate,
Keep the printed Hall ticket in a safe place and carry it to the
test venue on the day allotted toyou. You will be allowed entry to
the test venue only on production of the hall ticket. Carefully
read the instructions given below.
1.
Reach the test venue at least 30 minutes before the test
starting time. The personal
verifications and other formalities will take time. Late comers
will not be allowed entry to the
test venue.
2.The hall ticket has two parts. Affix a passport size photo in
the space provided on the hall
tickets, self attest the photograph by signing across the
same.
3.
The address of the test center is printed in the Hallticket. In
your own interest, please
familiarize yourself with the center location and approach to
the same a few days before thetest date, so that you do not
experience any difficulty on the day of the test.
4.
On the Hall ticket, there is a space identified for your
signature. Put your signature
immediately on the same so that others cannot misuse it. Also,
write your emergency contactphone number, if any, on the space
provided. Do not write anything else on the Hallticket
either before or during the test. Any tampering of the
Hallticket will lead to automatic
disqualification.
5.
A Hallticket Number is printed on the Hall ticket. Dont share it
with anyone else. This will be
required at the test center and also to access certain features
at website.
6.You can appear in BITS-HD 2016 only once. Even if you are
issued two hall tickets, it is yourresponsibility to ensure that
you appear only once. If it is found that you have appeared
more
than once in BITS-HD 2016, you will be disqualified and will be
ineligible for admissions to
BITS. The test centers are monitored by cameras for security
purpose and to avoidimpersonations.
7.
You should bring a pen for signing and for doing rough work. You
will be provided
worksheets inside the venue for rough work. Candidates can bring
a calculator without any
network connectivity/programmable feature. Candidates are not
allowed to bring any other
personal belongings such as mobile phones, ipods are any other
electronic gadgets. You shouldnot take any paper away from the test
venue, except your own hall ticket.
8.
You are strongly advised to familiarize yourself on the use of
computer, keyboard and mouse.
9. Your Hallticket contains the Codes of the Programmes for
which you are eligible (Refer to
table below) based on your Application and Eligibility Criteria.
The Starting Test Time and
slot is given in your Hallticket. Depending on the Programmes
for which you are eligible youwill be allowed to take the Online
tests out of the Tests 1, 2 and 3 . Your Hall ticket will alsohave
the information of the Tests which you will be appearing and these
Tests will be in
continuation on the same slot allotted to you.
