Topper.A true American classic, featuring a distinctive

black-finished hardwood stock, nickel-finished receiver and a

fixed choke. Its available in 12 and 20 gauge and 410 bore, with

a brass bead front sight and automatic ejectors for fast reloading.

Topper Deluxe Claic. The best-looking Topper to

ever come off the line, this is a serious upgrade of our original,

featuring a vent-rib 28" barrel, screw-in choke and genuine

American black walnut stock with fine checkering and a recoil

that weve been a part of the American hunting and shooting tradition from the beginning. This versatile and

economical shotgun design has changed very little since we started building them back in 1893, because it

works. Our break actions have long been the choice of straight-shooters who want the most out of their single

shot at game or a clay target. Theyre lightweight, quick-pointing and have very few moving parts to maintain.

These guns open smoothly when you press the lever, lock up tight as a bank vault door, and our Transfer Bar

sharp corners like traditional rifling (see image above). This

imparts bullet spin without leaving sharp impressions on the

sabot jacket or Foster-type lead slug, providing a perfect gas seal,

A true tack driver, this shotgun has a 24" fully rifled Ultragon

barrel crafted of heavy steel for more consistent harmonics

and better long-range accuracy. Its walnut-stained American

hardwood stock has a Monte Carlo comb. Choose from 12- and

20-gauge versions. Scope mounts are included. The 12-gauge

model is available with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted

3-9x32 scope. Compact 20 gauge has a 22" barrel. Our Deluxe

perform reliably in all weather conditions thanks to a simple, break-open design, a

matte nickel-finish receiver and barrel, and super-tough composite stock. Tamer

Shotguns stow virtually anywhere and have a unique thumbhole/pistol grip stock

that offers a firm hold and secures additional rounds. The 410 Bore barrel has a

fixed full choke and the 20 gauge has a fixed modified choke.

being fired unless the hammer is fully cocked, and

the trigger is pulled and held completely to the

rear. With this system, the hammer never strikes

the firing pin directly. Instead, cocking the hammer

raises the transfer bar, which is held in the "up"

position only if the trigger is pulled and held

fully to the rear. Only then can the energy of the

hammer be transferred to the firing pin. Safety

is our top priority, and we urge all shooters to

follow standard firearm safety practices and to
