Working PrincipleWhen the alternating current is applied to theelectromagnet, the actuating rod moves first in thedirection of the arrow as shown in Fig A and thenin the direction of the arrow as shown in Fig B, bythe magnetic attraction and repellent forcesexerted between the electromagnet and thepermanent magnets attached to the rod.
The rod vibrates at the same frequency as that ofthe power supply and changes the volume ofspace enclosed between the casing and thediaphragm.
