WhatsApp is a free app you can download on your mobile to communicate with people via message or video chat. This guide will show you how to download WhatsApp and use it.

You will need to open the App Store on your iPhone.

Using the search box, type in Whatsapp. Once that comes up, you will then need to click on it to download the app.

You will then need to follow the onscreen instructions to enter your mobile number and allow access to your contacts. This will allow you to find out who is already on Whatsapp.

Once this is set up, you should be able to see your Contacts list and open up a chat which looks like this....

Where you can see the + sign at the bottom of the screen, type a message to send it.

You can also use Whatsapp for a video call. Click on the camera icon to start a call.
