SunSPoT is an online tool to allow electricity consumers, solar businesses, planners and policymakers to estimate the potential for electricity generation from PV on building roofs. It is based on detailed modelling done at UNSW that accounts for solar radiation, tilt, orientation and shading at the site. The easy to use tool provides information and analysis to help energy consumers make better decisions about investment in Solar PV and decision makers optimise the value of PV investments.
