How To Take Care of a House Dog

Splash ,bang ,bark! Are you tired of your dog making a mess in the house? Well I am going to teach you how to make him stop.

Materials

Here are some things you may need: a brush,shampoo, a leash, and a chew toy so your dog doesn't get after everything. You may also need a collar with a name tag. And dog food.

• You should give your dog a bath once a week. Feed him or her twice a day or immediately after playing outside for a long time.

Bath Time

• When you give your dog a bath make sure the water is not too hot or too cold or your dog will jump out of the tub. Have two people there so one can hold the dog and one can wash him.

Drying Your Dog

• When your dog is done taking a bath get a towel and a blow dryer. After drying him off let your dog run around a little - this way he will dry off.

Grooming

• When you groom your dog you have to think about how long the dog’s fur is .If the dog’s fur is short, you need a steel comb. If the dog’s hair is long, get a dog brush.

Doggie Behavior

• If your dog has an accident in the house or rips up something punish your dog within 15 seconds. If you don’t your dog will not know what they are being punished for .If you do not see him do it do not punish him.

Owner Responsibility

• If you go on a trip do not leave for more than 7 hours. Simply take him or her to a pet palace or some place where dogs stay. Do not drop your dog of anywhere.

• Always take your dog to a vet place. They will cut his finger nails and help keep him from getting diseases.

• Well, there are all your steps. Remember to love your dog and take him for a walk daily and so on, and you got a buddy.
