After Hus’s death
Hus was Burned at the Stake in 1415,
with Wycliffe’s manuscript Bibles used as kindling for the fire.
The last words of John Hus were that,
“in 100 years, God will raise up a man whose calls for reform cannot be suppressed.”
Almost exactly 100 years later, in 1517,
Martin Luther nailed his famous 95 Theses onto the church door at Wittenberg.

2. Five consecutive Hussite Wars!
After his death in 1415, the followers of Hus's religious teachings (known as
Hussites) defeated five consecutive papal crusades between 1420
and 1431 in what became known as the Hussite Wars.
A Century later, As many as 90% of inhabitants of the Czech lands of Bohemia were non - Catholic and some still followed the teachings of Hus.
