Who Are The Best Referral Partners?
Everyone knows that referral selling is so much easier, for the simple fact that you are in front of
a qualified customer, or in my case someone who is going to respond to my emails. Now when
prospects have been asked who they go to for advice, the immediate answers tend to be lawyers
and accountants in most cases.
These are people who come in to contact with so many other potential clients of yours, they see
and meet people who if they recieved your emails, would become intrigued. However, if you are
going to do this, you need to target accountants and lawyers who specialize in an area that you
can relate your business to.
Another good idea is to target small businesses. Small businesses have a high volume of contact
with people who may want your product, I personally have found that estate agents are a very
good bet, simply because many are often fed up with their job, businesses who have a lot of
contact with estate agents, would be good to target if you have a business or money making
opportunity.
If you drill down deeper, you can find people who have contacts with other businesses that may
have contact with hot leads, you just need to think out of the box and just ask people. Connect
with as many of these people as you can. Because you are working online, this is much easier to
do in volume, simply because you can send an email and as long as the email is polite and to the
point, you will often get a response of some kind, I personally have had good results doing this.
Leverage
Leverage in the internet marketing world, is key to becoming extremely successful and making a
LOT of money. It also means that you can live a life where you control your own time.
The power of leverage works for you in 2 big ways:
1. One good lead source can give you 30,40,50 sales, versus putting the same amount of effort
into a low return activity like free classified etc.
2. The quality of the leads, as I have already mentioned will be far more qualified.
MAIN INFLUENCERS
Your Own Influencers
These are the people that YOU turn to for advice, these may be people you are already connected
to, doctors, dentists etc are all good bets, you can find many of these people on linked in, or you
can do it the old fashioned way and meet them face to face.
High Value Influencers
These are the most valuable influencers, and they aren’t as hard to get to as you might think. The
easiest way to get to these people, is to follow this formula:
1. Tell them you have some important news about your business
2. Tell them you respect and admire their success and that you would really value their feedback
3. schedule a time to meet, or if you are talking with someone who you may not be able to meet
with, the easiest thing to do is use Skype
