2. Open demo-model format E100: file ModelWithHistory/m95.data

1. Run calculations

2. Wait till the end

3. The calculation can be put on pause (button Stop) and start running later in the same place,

or any previously calculated step

1. Reports. Save Е100 Binaries (can be saved at any time step)

2. Tick parameters to save in the Dialogue. Save

3. Files are saved in the folder RESULTS

4. Tick Save to Current Directory to save files into the folder with model .data-file

2. Choose Accumulative or Instantaneous

3. Parameters: Accum. Oil, Accum. Water, Accum. Gas, Accum. Liquid, Accum. Inj. Water, Avg.

Pressure (the selection and arrangement of graphs will be offered in the dialogue later)

2. Set parameters, Show preview

3. Save – to the folder with model .data-file a new .png file with map/graphs will be saved

1. 2D or 3D map right mouse click on block

2. Block Statistics

3. To select press the upper left corner of the table, Ctrl+C (Copy), Ctrl+V (Paste), to Excel for

example

12 Copy information from the graphs

1. tNavigator displays a lot of information in the form of graphs

2. The graphs include the production of regions, groups, wells, connections, changing the

properties of grid cells along an arbitrary profile and along the well bore

3. Nearly all graphs are accompanied by tables on the right. Copy information from graphs to

Excel: Ctrl A (or press left upper corner to select the table), Ctrl C, Ctrl V

4. Also copying to the file is duplicated via the button Export

Press Export All:

1. Enter file name (extension .xls to save to Microsoft Excel file)

2. Default: all historical and calculated values for all groups and all wells for all time steps will

be saved

3. Tick off objects that you don’t want to save data

14 Well Profile Data

1. Open model SectorLowPerm/m100_fracs.data

2. Go to Maps. Calculated Maps. Pressure

3. 3D map

4. Tick Show All Wells

5. We see that the wells have connections at the top and bottom of the reservoir, between the

parts - barrier (inactive blocks)

6. Run calculations

Well Profile Data 15

1. Graphs. Well Profile – properties and rates along well bore (for connections)

2. Choose well (7 on the picture)

3. Tick properties Oil Total, Water total, Watercut, Bulk pressure

4. Right mouse click on profile graph, select Copy All

5. Copy (Ctrl V) to Excel file

2. Tick parameters: Bottom Hole Pressure, Loaded Pressure

3. Select well 7

4. Press – Load well graphs

5. Choose file: m100_BHP_well7.txt

6. Loaded graphs are shown and data is duplicated in the table

Summation of user Map for grid blocks around the wellbore

1. Maps. User Maps, Map

2. Enter in Map Arithmetic Command Line - moipm. Apply (Map of Mass Mobile Oil in place), at last

time step (on the picture)

3. Right mouse click on Map, choose Save Side Track Well Report

4. Enter Radius (number of blocks) around the well bore where the map is summed

5. Enter file name. Save

1. Maps. Initial Maps, map Porosity

2. Right mouse click on Map. Export

3. Save 3D. Porosity values will be saved at each grid blocks

4. File name is generated automatically

5. File will be saved to the folder with model data-file. Extension .map

6. Press Export in the dialogue

of Water. Export - file m95_Saturation of Water_end.map

3. Move time slider to zero time step!

4. Save map of initial saturation of water: Maps, Calculated maps, Saturation of Water. Export -

file m95_Saturation of Water_initial.map

1. In many cases, the boundaries of FIP region (sectors) already exist

2. They can be loaded as text file, where the vertices of an arbitrary polygon are given in

meters

3. An example of region boundaries is given in the file: m95_FIPREGIONS.txt

1. Maps. User Cuts, Cut

2. Right mouse click. Load FIP Boundary.

3. Load file m95_FIPREGIONS.txt

4. This Cut can be used to split model (see the course HowToSplitAndMergeModel), choose

wells for Well Filter etc.
