Turn right into Bowling Green Lane and cross over the road. Turn left into Farringdon Road and the Newsroom is the second building on you left. Turn left out of Farringdon station and turn left into Turnmill Street and walk on left hand side. At the top of Turnmill Street turn right and the cross over Clerkenwell Road at the pelican crossing in front of Anexo Restaurant. Turn left into Farringdon Lane, walk along the right hand side of the road. The road will lead you onto Farringdon Road and the Newsroom is on your right hand side. It is close to public transport. The nearest stations are Farringdon (Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City Lines, Thameslink trains) and Chancery Lane (Central Line). The following bus routes also stop near the centre: 243, 55 (Clerkenwell Road), 19, 38 & 341 (Rosebery Avenue), 63 (Farringdon Road). Farringdon Road carries a heavy traffic load all through the day and has narrow pavements on some sections. Avoid the crossing at the junction of Farringdon Road and Clerkenwell Road, which does not have pelican lights. We have provided safer and quieter walking routes to the Newsroom, if your group is using public transport. See map. Leave at exit 2 and walk straight ahead. Walk along Holborn past WH Smith and Boots to Hatton Garden. Walk all the way along the left hand side of Hatton Garden, at the top of the road cross over the zebra crossing. Turn right and walk down Clerkenwell Road to the next Zebra crossing and cross the road here. Continue along Clerkenwell Road and turn left into Farringdon Road (by Yo! Sushi) walk on the left hand side of Farringdon Road until you come to the main Guard- ian building. Cross over the pelican crossing to the Newsroom, which is opposite the main Guardian building. This is a dangerous crossing — so take care.
