Church of S. Salvador (2) – The Church of S. Salvador is a Romanesque temple built around the 13th century. Its originality lies mainly in the “Pentacrator” tympanum of the main portal whose iconography of "Christ in Majesty" is the most complete example of Portuguese Romanesque. In the same portal, the tympanum is flanked by a set of archivolts decorated with scenes of the apostolate.

Galician Bridge (10) – Structure built with granite ashlars in order to cross the Ribeira de Linhares. It has two round arches and ramps with a gentle slope on both margins. The upstream side has a triangular break- water, a cutting edge on the central bollard and four water outlets under each one of the arches. The bridge deck is preceded by traces of a road with wheel marks.

Pillory and the Mermaid Fountain (5) – The pillory of Carrazeda de Ansiães was built in the mid-18th century, when the town hall was transferred from the walled village of Ansiães to Carrazeda de Ansiães. The structure is built of granite ashlar resting on a four-stepped paving. The column is made up of a smooth-faced octagonal shaft and the chapitel bears the coat-of-arms of D. João V. The fountain has a tank and a central stem made up of four mermaids fonte é um chafariz com aligned vertically in the form of caryatids.

Church of Santa Eufémia (6) – Elongated 18th century temple preceded by a porch supported by 12 Tuscan columns. Its straight lintel door is framed by two Tuscan pilasters and is crowned by a pediment. The maximum splendour lies inside where it was richly decorated in baroque style. It has a false domed ceiling with painted coffers with scenes from the life of Christ and the Virgin in the nave and a Tree of Jesse in the main chapel.

Windmill (3) – The Windmill of Carrazeda de Ansiães was built in the early 20th century. It worked for about a decade, grinding the wheat produced in the fields surrounding the village of Carrazeda. The structure comprises a fixed tower built of granite and a revolving wooden windshaft. It has four triangular sails, supported on a mast, that catch the wind, causing the mill to turn and grind. The traction system of the windmill operates inside by means of a winch.

Dolmen of Vilarinho da Castanheira (15) – This dolmen, also known as Pala da Moura, is part of a type that is frequently seen in megalithic funerary architecture. It is a polygonal chamber made up of eight pillars, which include the headstone. It has a cover and corridor facing east. Four megaliths, apparently still in place, can be seen from the original corridor. On the inner part of one of the pillars there are subtle traces of a primitive pictorial composition.

The Olive Oil Museum - Lavandeira Oil Mill and Press (7) - The Olive Oil Museum deals only with olive oil, covering the traditions associated with agricultural work related to olive trees and the production techniques of this precious foodstuff. Since the beginning of time, olive oil has been used as seasoning yet it has many other applications ranging from lighting, cosmetics and even the production of soap.

House of Selores (8) – This manor-house, classified as property of public interest, is made up of three different parts: the chapel, the house and the porch balcony. The chapel was built in 1616. It is rectangular in shape and the facade ends in a triangular gable. The door of the 18th century house is flanked by two mullioned windows and is crowned by the Morais family crest. On the left is a 17th century coat-of-arms framed by Solomonic columns.

Cachão da Rapa (12) – Cachão da Rapa is undoubtedly one of the most important sites of Portuguese historical rock paintings. The paintings were made on the flat and vertical granite panel over 4 metres high. The surface contains a sequence of schematic motifs with a predominance of rectangular geometrical shapes in red ocre and dark blue, almost black.

Dolmen of Zedes (16) – Megalithic monument known locally as Casa da Moura. It is remarkably well preserved and still has its polygonal chamber and a corridor facing east. The Zedes dolmen is made up of eight pillars, which include the headstone and respective cover of the funerary monument. On the inside of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pillars there are still traces of ocre paintings.

CICA (4) - The Interpretative Center of

the Ansiães Castle is a cultural structure of

the Town Council of Carrazeda de Ansiães

where visitors can come into contact with

the history of the county. The museum

project presents a brief chronological

sequence of the county's historical events,

focusing essentially on the castle and

walled town of Ansiães, an archaeological

site classified as a National Monument in

1910.

The Ansiães Castle (1) is an old fortified medieval village located 7 km from the village of Carrazeda de Ansiães, whose history has evolved continuously from the Chalcolithic period (3rd millennium BC) until 1734, when the county seat was transferred from Ansiães to Carrazeda. The settlement is made up two lines of walls, fortified by turrets, 5 access doors and two churches.

Mills of Rodízio do Ribeiro do Coito (14) - Located close to the village of Vilarinho da Castanheira, the mills of Ribeiro do Coito are integrated in a leisurely bucolic landscape. Visitors can take advantage of the pure contact with the surrounding nature while enjoying the ingenuity employed in the construction of these structures. The two recovered mills were part of a wider area that housed other milling buildings and small living quarters.

Museum of Rural Memory (13) - Located in

the village of Vilarinho da Castanheira, this

cultural structure is dedicated to gathering,

preserving and disseminating the rural

culture of the region of Douro and Trás-os-

Montes. Based on a set of technological

resources, which include the latest

multimedia solutions, the museum is

essentially didactic, paying tribute to the

rural culture of a people with a long history

and an ancient cultural tradition that needs

to be preserved, studied and disseminated.

Lookout point of the Douro (11) - The Lookout point of the Douro Route is located halfway up the slope facing the Douro River. It has its own leisure area and is perfectly integrated in the landscape. It provides an excellent view of the surrounding area of the Doura slopes, the vineyard, the farms, the selements and the Douro River.
