Credit Limitations
• No more than 4 units of Physical Education may be used in GPA/60 unit calculation
• No more than 70 transferrable units will count toward bachelor’s degree
• No more than 14 units may be taken Pass/Fail-some colleges/majors require all courses to be taken for letter grade- see www.assist.org

Guaranteed Admission
• Seven campuses participate in the TAG program • TAG only ONE campus • Fill out an online TAG Application Today using the
planner • Submit your TAG September 1-30 the year you intend
on applying to transfer. • When your TAG is approved, fulfill all remaining
coursework and GPA requirements in your TAG agreement.
• Apply for admission to UC November 1-30 that same year.

Good to know Because the pool of students who apply to UC is different every year, the level of academic performance necessary for admission to a particular campus or major is different, too. Acceptance rates depend on the number of applicants, their academic qualifications and the spaces available.

• Application is online-ONE application for up to 9 campuses
• Available August 1st • Submission period November 1-30 the year
BEFORE you plan to transfer • You must report ALL academic courses • You must write a personal statement • $70.00 per campus • 4 fee waivers if eligible

Prompt 1
• What is your intended major? Discuss how your interest in the subject developed and describe any experience you have had in the field — such as volunteer work, internships and employment, participation in student organizations and activities — and what you have gained from your involvement.

• Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?
