HOW TO GENERATE A POLICY JACKET WFG National Title provides agents with an easy method of electronically generating a WFG policy jacket, using our Agent Management Site (“AMS”). From the AMS site, you can also create a Closing Protection Letter (CPL), search the Specially Designated Nationals List, or access the Rate Calculator. The training below focuses solely on how to access the policy jacket generator on the AMS site.
1. From the WFG home page, www.wfgnationaltite.com, select the “Title Agent Login” link in the
upper right corner, which will take you to the Agent Management System, or AMS, login screen.
2. Enter your user information, and click “Login.”

3. You will now be on the AMS welcome screen.
4. From the AMS welcome screen, you will access the Jacket Generator through the menu bar below
the Williston Financial Group logo. Select “Services,” “Policy Jacket Generator,” “Create Jacket.”

5. This screen is the main menu for the Jacket Generator and will display your user information and a
list of the states you authorized to create Jackets for. 6. To generate a policy Jacket, choose “Create Jackets,” from the Policy Jackets menu.

7. Using the drop down menu select the number of jackets you would like to generate. You may generate up to 5 jackets at a time. Then select the agency you are issuing the jacket for.
8. You will now be on the screen where you will need to enter the information for each policy. The fields that are bold are required: State, Jacket Type, File Number and Policy Date. If you are generating an Owner’s and Loan Policy for the same file, you can click the “Copy Policy Information from Previous Policy” on the second jacket, and it will automatically fill in the completed fields for you.

9. Once the general policy information is entered, you can also enter the borrower’s information and
select any endorsements that may be needed on their respective tabs. On the policy jacket tab, the insured clause will be required if you are issuing a Short Form Loan Policy.
10. On the borrower’s tab, the system will automatically populate the city and county based on the zip
code that you enter.

11. On the Endorsements tab, the system will automatically calculate the premium for the endorsements.
12. After you have entered the policy jacket, borrower, and endorsement information, click “Create
Jackets.”

13. This screen displays the policy number assigned to each policy you entered, and provides a link for you to save a PDF of the policy jacket. In order to do so, click on the “Generate Policy Jacket” for each policy.
14. A new window will open with the PDF, and you can save the letter. Once it is saved, you can close this window.

15. You can view, edit, or cancel previously issued jackets through the “Manage Jackets” Links at the top of the screen.

17. … and you can either enter the policy number, or choose it from the table below. 18. Select the option that you need: Edit, Cancel or View. Please note that you will be required to provide
a reason for the edit or cancelation.

19. The policy jacket system also has a reports feature where you can pull data on policies issued. Select “Reports” from the menu to access the reports function of the system.
20. The “Jackets” Report will give you detailed reports of the policies issued by year. Enter the year and
select the Agency you want to pull data for, and select “Show Report.”

21. A new window will open with information about the policies generated during the chosen year. You can view the report online, print it, or you can choose to export it to Excel, or to a PDF to save.
22. The “Jackets by Date” Report will allow you to specify a certain date range that you want to pull
policy data for.

23. This can be used for monthly, quarterly reports, or any specified period you wish. The options for this
report are the same as for the “Jackets” Report. You can view the report online, print it, or you can choose to export it to Excel, or to a PDF to save.
24. The “WFG Remittance Report” will provide more detailed information on the policies generated
during a specified time period that can be used for remittances. Again the options for this report are the same as for the previously reviewed reports. You can view the report online, print it, or you can choose to export it to Excel, or to a PDF to save.
