How to create an EP Form on myaiesec.net
After you have created your account, please log in. You are now welcome on our internal platform.
Follow the next steps to generate an EP Form. EP stands for Exchange Participant.
Make sure you selected the Global Community Development Programme.
You have 6 sections you need to fill in. You know when a section is completed once it has the red
asterisk removed from its top right corner.
Make sure you select the right committee, and do not generate form yet. Start filling in each section, begin
with Personal Information.
Personal Information
-Click on Edit each time you want to modify something
-When you finish editing one section, go back and check if the red asterisk is gone (this means you have
completed the respective step)
Professional Information
Upload your CV, then click Update. Nothing more is required here.
Backgrounds
Click Edit in order to add information.
Choose maximum 20 backgrounds.
Tick the first checkbox of the background to select it, and then choose what type of work you have done
into that domain:
A – Academic – you studied it in University
W – Work – you worked in this field
B – Both – you studied the subject in school and then you also worked in the same field
Skills
Again, click Edit in order to add information.
Do not forget to tick the box and then click Save at the end of the page.
Languages
It is advisable to put “Excellent” for English.
Last but not least, after filling in everything, click on Generate Form.
It will generate an ID like this: EP-In-LB-AU-2014-XYZ. Have it written somewhere, you will need it. This
is going to be your identification number on our platform. (EP ID)
Also you will be requested to provide an “EP Manager” e-mail, for the “NPS Survey”. This is a survey for
measuring how satisfied our participants are regarding our programs and their delivery.
For the “EP Manager” e-mail you can use an AIESECer’s e-mail, usually the person you communicate with
the most.
Now, your status will be considered “New”. In order to apply for internships, your status must be
put on “Available”. You can check your status and EP Form in the following way, introducing your own
EP ID. Careful, it will open a pop-up window, so if your browser is set to block pop-up windows, modify
this option so you will be able to see.
Your status will be written on the top right corner of the page, and it has to be New at the beginning and
then it will be put on Available by the National Committee (usually in the same day).
If you do changes to your EP Form after it is “New” or “Available”, it will automatically be put “On Hold”.
Do not change anything, in case you are “On Hold”, communicate it to AIESECers in order for us to change
it.
You have reached the end of creating your EP Form. What is next -> the matching part. Your AIESEC local
office will guide you through the process.
We wish you to have an incredible experience and make this world a better place, somehow.
