INTRODUCTION

Clash of Clans is an addicting war strategy game that is played by thousands of players around the world. Every time a Town Hall is leveled up, the game becomes more difficult and new strategies must be used to successfully attack a matching opponent. This instruction set will show you how to successfully attack a Town Hall level 9 base using the GoWiPe attack strategy. The GoWiPe strategy is a trophy pushing strategy that uses Golems, Wizards, and Pekkas as its main troops. It is capable of scoring two to three stars in a successful attack.

WARNING

It is recommended that you take breaks while playing any game.

Longer gaming sessions can have a negative impact on your health.

Be sure to position your body in a comfortable position to avoid discomfort and fatigue during extended gaming sessions.

ASSUMPTIONS

This instruction guide assumes that you have reached Town Hall level 9 with high

leveled troops that consist of Golems, Wizards, Pekkas, Wall Breakers, and

Archers. You must also have healing or rage spells that are at least level 5. A Jump

and Poison spell can also be useful but not necessary.

REQUIRED MATERIALS

1. Mobile device such as an Apple iPhone or iPad.

2. A solid internet connection (WiFi, Cellular, etc.).

3. Clash of Clans game account with Town Hall 9 and high level troops

achieved.

4. Time and patience.

PROCEDURE

Step 1: Open the Clash of Clans app

Step 2: Army Composition

1. Select the town Barracks

2. Click ‘Train Troops’ as shown in Figure 2.

3. Train 3 Pekkas, 18 Wizards, 6 Wall Breakers, and 1 Archer. These troops will serve to core the base and destroy all surrounding buildings and guarantee a successful attack.

4. Select the town Dark Barracks.

5. Click ‘Train Troops’.

6. Train 2 Golems. Golems will serve as meat shields that will distract your opponent’s defenses while the rest of the other troops begin to destroy them.

7. Select the Spell Factory.

8. Click ‘Brew’.

9. Brew 3 Healing spells, and 1 Jump spell as shown in Figure 4 above. The Healing spells will continuously heal your troops as they are being attacked by the opponent’s defenses. The Jump spell will allow troops to jump over high leveled walls.

10. Select the Dark Spell Factory.

11. Click ‘Brew’.

12. Brew 1 Poison spell. The Poison spell will wipe out any defense troops that come out of the opponent’s Clan Castle.

Step 3: Choosing the right base to attack

1. Select ‘Attack’ on the left side of the screen.

2. Select ‘Find a Match’ to begin searching for a matching opponent.

3. Look for bases where the buildings are closely compacted with few spaces

in between them. This will enable the troops to close in together and cause

damage to the majority of the base instead of splitting up into smaller

groups. Figure 5 is a perfect example.

4. Keep selecting ‘Next’ until the right base has been found.

5. As soon as the right base has been found, scout the base for 30 seconds to

plan your attack.

6. Locate where most of the defenses are placed and find any weak spots or

openings.

7. When you are ready to attack, proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Positioning Golems

1. Place the two Golems separately but not too far apart from each other in

areas where the most single-target defenses are located.

2. The goal is to distract the defenses and have them attack the Golems

instead of our other troops that we will drop later.

3. As you can see from Figure 6, six different defenses are distracted by the

Golems.

4. Once they are in place, move on to the next step.

Step 5: Positioning Wizards

1. As the Golems continue to distract the opponent’s defenses, it is now safe

to drop our next troops.

2. Place wizards behind the Golems and spread them around to cause damage

to structures in between the Golems.

3. Do not drop all of the Wizards at once. You need to save at least 8 of them

to core the center of the base.

Step 6: Positioning Wall Breakers

1. Next, drop the 6 Wall Breakers to penetrate the first line of walls that

protect the base.

2. This will allow our troops to core the center instead of attacking around the

edges of the base.

3. Make sure to drop the Wall Breakers before the mortar fires its next ball of

fire. We don’t want the Wall Breakers to die before the walls have been

penetrated.

4. As soon as the walls have been destroyed, move to the next step.

Step 7: Positioning Pekkas

1. Finally release the 3 Pekkas as soon as the Wizards have cleared a direct

path to the open walls that have been destroyed by the Wall Breakers.

2. By this time, the Golems and Wizards have begun to attack the structures

that were previously protected by the walls.

3. The Pekkas will follow suit and severely damage nearby buildings.

4. Drop the remaining Wizards that we saved earlier directly behind the

Pekkas.

5. The opponent’s defenses will attack the Golems and Pekkas firsthand,

saving the Wizards behind them. This is not a problem as Golems and

Pekkas have high hit points.

Step 8: Dropping Spells

1. As your troops begin to move in towards the center of the base, they will

have suffered a lot of damage from the opponent’s defenses.

2. Drop 1 healing spell to heal troops within the healing radius.

3. Make sure that the majority of your troops are covered within this healing

radius as not to waste it.

4. As your troops move closer, they will encounter another set of walls.

5. Drop the Jump spell over these walls to allow the troops to hurdle over

them and attack the center of the base.

6. Make sure to drop the Jump spell precisely on the set of walls.

7. Defense troops from the opponent’s castle should have come out by this

time.

8. Drop the Poison spell to poison and kill them.

9. Optional:

a. If you have Heroes such as a Barbarian King or an Archer Queen, you

may drop them now to cause further damage to the opponent’s

base.

10. Drop the remaining Healing spells accordingly to keep your troops healthy

throughout the attack.

11. The enemy’s base should be successfully destroyed

Step 9: Watch the Action Unfold

1. Now that all your GoWiPe troops and spells have been released, you can sit

and watch them annihilate your opponent’s base to shreds and earn your

three stars!
