• Surrender your time–Ephesians 5:15-16“Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of

• Surrender your speech–Ephesians 4:29“Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those

the officials that he might not defile himself.” – Daniel 1:8

• Make your own stand for the Lord when problems arise

Develop Yourself

• Develop your own close spiritual relationship with God–Ecclesiastes 12:1

“Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I

have no delight in them";”

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and

turn away from evil.” – Proverbs 3:6-7

• Train yourself–Revelation 3:16“So because you are lukewarm, and neither

hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.”

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of

truth. ” – 2 Timothy 2:15

• Work for the Lord–Psalm 110:3“Your people will volunteer freely in the day

of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as

the dew.”
