Learning Experiences embodies our philosophy of Multiple Learning Experiences

(MLEx). This version makes it easier for teachers to use our MLEx lesson plans

while also empowering them with contextual tools.

User Interface

With a redesigned user interface, Tata ClassEdge Learning

Experiences is now more user-friendly, simpler and

intuitive. Teachers will now find it easier to access and use

the many facets of our proprietary instructional framework,

MLEx – be it a simulation, an animation, a classroom

activity or a worksheet. The system recommends a certain

sequence of learning experiences as per our MLEx lesson

plan while also allowing teachers to customize the lesson

plan and sequence activities the way they want.

At Tata ClassEdge, we believe that education is not just about mastering

academic subjects; it is also about developing a discerning mind. Students need

to confront situations or ethical dilemmas where they need to decide what action

to take and learn how to judge situations. A prescriptive approach to values does

not encourage this.

It is with this perspective that Tata ClassEdge has launched its values and life

skills curriculum for schools, aptly titled Thinking About Values. Designed for

classes 1 to 5, the solution includes a series of age-appropriate, visually rich

Thinking About Values textbooks, which will help young students make informed

ethical decisions in real life contexts. The series covers topics on ethics, safety,

civic sense and more.

Thinking About Values

The series comes in two editions:

Student Edition: The student edition books deal with stories or poems that focus on

values and social skills such as honesty, responsibility and dealing with strangers. These

stories are interspersed with discussion questions, which encourage students to carefully

consider their ethical positions. The worksheets and activities within the book enable

students to respond to ethical dilemmas in real life situations. Each lesson also contains

a QR code, which when scanned by a smartphone directs the student to a web link that

plays out the digital, animated version of the story or poem.

Teacher Edition: The teacher edition book guides teachers to handle these lessons with

sensitivity and openness. The animated stories are also available on the Tata ClassEdge

Learning Experiences platform, which teachers could play in the classroom.

This mobile application enhances parent involvement through simplified

communication and transactions. The application helps teachers communicate

without paperwork and send assignments directly from the board.
