Get Red Rally and Houston Get Red Day!
Leslie Alexander and the Houston Rockets would like to invite the City of Houston to a GET RED Rally at City Hall on Tuesday, October 28th at Noon!
To celebrate the beginning of our exciting season, we’ll have free Papa John's pizza*, water* provided by C&D Scrap Metal and drinks* from Gatorade, music, interactive inflatables, giveaways and special performances by Houston’s own Clutch the Rockets Bear, Rockets Power Dancers and Rockets Launch Crew!
And special thanks to City of Houston Mayor Bill White, who will proclaim Wednesday, October 29th GET RED Houston Day, to celebrate the Houston Rockets' Season Home Opener against the Memphis Grizzlies at 7:30pm at Toyota Center. Please join Rockets fans throughout the city to “spread the red” by wearing red that day and encouraging friends, co-workers and neighbors to wear red, display red and attend the Season Home Opener game that evening!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our first-year season ticket holders for the upcoming 2008-09 season. The Rockets Ticket Services Department will be here for you throughout your season ticket holder experience to assist with any ticketing or service needs. Please be sure to let your service executive know of any upcoming special occasions, birthdays or anniversaries during the season, as we strive to go above and beyond in making your season ticket holder experience a great one.

Rebuilding Houston, post-Hurricane Ike…
We hope that you are safe and well post-Hurricane Ike. We know that many of our friends and family have suffered as a result of this storm, and hope that you are coping
during this difficult time in our city. As a part of the Rockets family, we wish you well and want to let you know our thoughts are with you.
In light of the damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Ike, Rockets players and front office staff reached out to the community at University of Houston’s Robertson Stadium POD location. In conjunction with Feed the Children, Leslie Alexander and the
Rockets organization purchased several semi trucks loaded with pre-packaged, non-perishable food and basic essential toiletries which were distributed to local area residents.
Rafer Alston, Chuck Hayes, Mike Harris, Luther Head and Aaron Brooks were onsite greeting fans and helping load the goods into cars. Clutch and the Power Dancers were also there
supporting the relief effort.
Following up on the POD relief effort, the Rockets teamed up with the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System for a "Give Red, Get Red" blood drive at Toyota Center on Thursday, September 25th. The blood drive was held to help the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center meet the increased demands for fresh blood in the Houston area post-Hurricane Ike.
The Rockets front office staff and players will continue to work with groups in the community to help rebuild Houston in wake of this devastating storm.
