I began my legal career as a judicial clerk for Judge Christopher J. Marshall of the Multnomah County Circuit Court.Following my clerkship, I accepted a position with Wiles Law Group, LLC (formerly Ashcroft Wiles Ammann LLP)where I practiced civil litigation, primarily in construction defect, insurance defense, business and commercialmatters. I litigated cases in state court, Federal court and arbitrations throughout Oregon and Washington.
I then joined Markun Zusman Freniere & Compton, LLP, where I defend broker-dealers, brokers and investmentadvisors in FINRA arbitrations, state and federal court securities actions; defend clients in regulatory investigationsinitiated by the SEC, FINRA and state regulatory agencies; defend subcontractors, general contractor, developersand design professionals against construction defect claims; and provide corporate counseling to Northwestbusinesses. My securities and regulatory practices allow me to practice throughout the country.
Additionally, I am a member of several local state and federal bar associations and organizations. I am interestedin serving as a member of the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates because I believe that it is important formembers of a self-governing professional organization to actively participate in the process.
