Congratulations on your engagement! � ank you so much for considering Hour Weddings as your Wedding Planners.I would like to tell you a bit about myself as choosing a wedding planner is very personal.

I have been organising weddings and corporate events for the last ten years and have done over 300 special weddings! Every-body’s day is unique no matter if it is an intimate or grand wed-ding. It is that special moment when your souls become one from the moment you say “I DO”

In the past I have also had the privilege to organise the Chief Minister’s wedding, the designer John Galliano’s nieces wedding and many other high pro� led weddings in Gi-braltar, Southern Spain and Tenerife.

I love to create the perfect dream, combining colours, walking through the wedding in my mind, spotting and solving the possible problems, ironing out the creases before the Big Moment - then the magic happens when it all comes together!

We are stylists, organisers and forward thinkers. We are industry savvy & most importantly, motivated to create the ultimate stress free and memora-ble wedding for you and your family.

We research, propose, manage and co-ordinate suppliers. We order samples, arrange appointments, manage the administration, calendar and order of events and con� rm all timings, details and deliveries. We work closely with � orists, entertainers, transport providers, cake designers, caterers, photog-raphers and many more.

As leading wedding planners we are not restricted to the options listed to this brochure, we can also organise weddings at places of worship such as churches, synagogues or temples. In addition to the marriage venue we also have a wide selection of locations in Gibraltar and Spain where you can cel-ebrate your reception in style.

Gibraltar Registry O� ce

“John & Yoko” - All you need is LoveJohn Lennon and Yoko Ono were famously married in the original Marriage Registry in Gibral-tar. Today, the Registry, located in the heart of Gibraltar, is the venue for many couples who want to make theirs a simple but elegant a� air. � ere is also a small garden on the premises, perfect for the wedding pictures.

� e Registry O� ce provides a formal setting, having recently been refurbished. Its central loca-tion in the heart of Gibraltar’s old town makes this venue accessible and within a few moments’ walk from restaurants and local hotels. � e Registry O� ce in Gibraltar is renowned for its friend-ly, simple and welcoming nature, making this a popular location for couples from around the world who are looking to exchange their vows in Gibraltar.

Botanic Gardens – The Dell

Romance in the Secret Gardens� is delightful “secret garden” is possibly one of the most romantic spots in Gibraltar. � is intimate, sub-tropical garden was designed by Guiseppe Codali, the head gardener and horticulturist of the Alameda during the end of the 19th century, a Genoese who was brought to Gibraltar speci� cally to work in the gardens. His Italian in� uence can be seen in the terracing and general layout of this area.

Botanic Gardens – The Theatre

Lush Surroundings� e Open Air � eatre in the Botanic Gardens is available for hire. � e � eatre has a large stage for your wedding ceremony, grassed terraces ideal for a wedding reception, and a large pond between the seating area and the stage over which a bridge can be extended. � e � eatre is suitable for theatrical performances, concerts, receptions and other outdoor events. Hire charges are customised to the user's requirements. Lighting and basic sound equipment can be provided.

Botanic Gardens - the Lion’s Pond

Intimate & QuaintIn 1984, Lions' Club member John Zayas commenced this project as part of the club’s commitment to improve the environment and to serve as a recreational area for the pub-lic. It was inaugurated on the 31st May, 1986. � is very shady, tranquil area has a pond on one side and narrow paths, lined with shade loving plants, meandering through the back.

Top of the Rock

Majestic ViewsPerched 412m above the sea, at the very top of the Rock of Gibraltar, the Mons Calpe Suite is the most spectacular and unique venue in Gibraltar and Southern Spain. Located within the Cable Car Top Sta-tion complex, the exclusive Mons Calpe Suite and terraces o� er the most spectacular views of the Rock, Spain and Africa. Stretched out beneath you will see two continents, two bodies of water and three countries. Across the Strait of Gibraltar lies Africa and the Rif Mountains where stands the impressive Jebel Musa.

The Mount

Colonial Charm� e Mount, which was built in 1797, was formerly the o� cial residence of the senior o� cer of the Royal Navy in Gibraltar. It is an o� cially listed building with fascinating gardens. � ese gardens af-ford an excellent backdrop for your wedding photos. � is is a popular wedding venue ideal for more than 20 guests.



Caleta Hotel

Mediterranean SeaLocated beside a quaint seaside village on the eastside of the Rock, perched on a cli� right on the Mediterranean Sea, is this 4 star hotel which o� ers you lovely sea views and a romantic setting as yout exchange your vows on the terrace. � e hotel overlooks the peaceful former � shing village of Catalan Bay as the waves roll in below you, creating a visual spectacle that o� ers 180-degree views of sea, sky and the meeting of two continents.

� is hotel is a favourite for many who love the idea of being away from the busy town centre, yet only less than a 10 minutes drive from the centre of Gibraltar.



The Rock Hotel

Classic Ambience� e Rock Hotel is an institution amongst Gibraltar hotels and indeed the Mediterranean. Built in 1932 by the Marquis of Bute, the hotel to this day still o� ers standards of service and guest care from that bygone, more genteel era.

San Roque Golf Club

Spanish ColonialFormerly the home of the Domecq sherry family, � e San Roque Club sits on an enviable backdrop surrounded by lush hills and historic cork oak woods. � e centrepiece of the club is the magni� cent Domecq mansion which oozes character. � e club is set within 340 acres of peaceful and natural Andalucían landscape where the ancient cork oaks dominate the landscape. San Roque � rst opened its doors in 1991 and quickly became the golf resort of choice in Sotogrande, designed by Dave � omas. � e old course along with Valderrama and Real Club de Sotogrande became known as the golden triangle of golf.

Wedding ReceptionsChoosing your reception venue can be time consuming and daunting. We can help you choose the perfect location for you in Gibraltar or Southern Spain. From medieval castles to wild beach parties, the choice is yours and we will make it happen. � is is the moment when families and friends come together to celebrate your bond as newlyweds, so let’s make it a fantastic beginning!

Note that the following fees are solely for organising your reception and having a wedding repre-sentative present on the day to ensure that everything is running smoothly.

Coordination & Operations on Your Wedding Day� is is ideal for the hands on couple who has organised their own wedding but who are looking for a hassle free wedding day and the freedom of having us providing complete coordination of your special day from commencement of your ceremony until your � nal guests’ departure.

� e coordination & operations package ensures that from the moment your guests arrive to the ceremo-ny, until the very last dance, your needs & requirements as Bride and Groom are ful� lled.

We will ensure that all styling & set-up has been completed as per your requests, following a brie� ng pri-or to your wedding date. We will ensure that the preparations are running as per the suppliers & guests itineraries given to us.

Upon departure, Hour Weddings shall ensure that all wedding paraphernalia is arranged to be collated and dispersed to your nominated ‘wedding paraphernalia guest’ {preferred guest} in order to ensure safe-keeping of your personal belongings such as gi� s, additional décor items.

Price From: £450.00 for a maximum of 6 hours service on the day, a maximum of 2 hours brief the day prior to the wedding, and a maximum of 2 hours a� er the wedding to ensure that all your belongings are gathered and taken to the appropriate person. Anything over and above will be charge on a per hour basis at £30.00 per hour.
