Dear Kate,

I’m glad to hear that you’re finally getting married. I wouldn’t miss the wedding for the world. I must confess that your letter came at a difficult time for me, my grandpa just passed away a few days ago, but I will be more than glad to attend the party.

Unfortunately, I will not make it to the ceremony but I’ll be just in time for the big party. I’ll be arriving on the 2nd of May and I will stay in Huston until the 10th. As I heard, you will not leave for the honeymoon until the 20th , so I truly hope to catch up with you guys in the meantime.

I’m so anxious to see you and the girls, to meet your husband and to hear the whole story that brought you to this exceptional moment.
