The American Red Cross has an amazing opportunity available for an Intern to support the Life
Saving Awards program as a Life Saving Specialist for the summer term. This position will work
full-time hours from June 5, 2017 - August 11, 2017.
Job Summary: The Life Saving Specialist will be primarily responsible for identifying and
executing streamlined processes for two types of prestigious Life Saving awards. The Life
Saving Specialist Intern will serve as a liaison with cross functional teams to develop marketing
strategy and positioning to increase award awareness both inside and outside of the American
Red Cross. Other specific tasks will include tracing award requests, preparation of written
citations and reviewing documentation on our intranet site and on Redcross.org (RCO). This
Intern will also assist in the assessment and development of this American Red Cross program..
Qualifications
Applicants that are currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program as a rising Junior or Senior
in college are preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational and written communication skills
Must have the ability to work independently, willing to perform back office processes and learn
new computer systems/applications (e.g. Saleforce)
Established background or interest in marketing is a plus.
This position may travel and participate in meetings and or conferences throughout the American
Red Cross system. The primary way the intern will demonstrate progress towards achieving the

Columbia Records Big Red Internship
The Big Red Program is a unique summer internship program dedicated to exploring a wide
range of digital and strategic initiatives while also providing students with a unique opportunity

2017 Summer Hospitality Internship
We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, customer service driven, college students, majoring in
hospitality or recreation, to join ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation Rentals for an exciting and
educational summer internship! We will first consider seniors and then juniors, who are currently
enrolled in a college or university hospitality program. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and
previous customer service experience is preferred. Additionally, you MUST be able to attain
school credit for your time with us.
Is this a paid internship? YES. We pay $12.00/hr! This is a paid internship opportunity. Expect
to work at least 40 hours a week. The ability to work a flexible schedule is required. In the
hospitality industry evening, weekend and holiday work is required. Any school coursework is
expected to be completed on your own time. Paychecks are issued bi-weekly, however, your first
paycheck my take three weeks to be issued, so you should plan your finances accordingly.

The Criminal Law Internship Program (CLIP) provides a fast paced, hands-on investigative
internship for current students and graduates. Intern Investigators spend at least 12 weeks at one

•Develop, test, and support a variety of custom software applications that support all business
applications within the business side of the organization.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field. Advanced
Degree preferred.
•Object-Oriented programming experience (e.g. .NET, Java, Swift).
•Experience in data modeling using tools such as R and/or Python.
•Knowledge of and familiarity with emerging web standards (e.g. HTML5).
•Experience with relational database development including Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014
and/or Oracle in addition to proficient knowledge in SQL Programming, SSIS, and Visual
Studio.
•Familiarity or basic knowledge of Microsoft based products including Windows, Windows
Server, and Microsoft Office. Linux experience is a plus.
•Mobile application development experience is a plus (iOS and/or Android platforms).
