Customer service and the HEX proposition vs other modes of transportHeathrow Express has been named by the British Travel Awards (BTAs) as one of the contenders for the Best Holiday Transfer Company award.Heathrow Express, Britain’s leading air-rail link, is the fastest, most comfortable and most reliable way of travelling between Heathrow and central London.
First Great Western runs 9,564 services every week, (over 1500 trains per weekday) calling at 276 stations. Their trains cover a total 70 million miles and carry 99.6 million passengers every year, providing high speed, commuter, regional and branch line train and sleeper services across the Greater Western rail franchise area. This includes direct services to stations on route to London, Bristol, South Wales, the West Country, the Cotswolds and large parts of Southern England.
No single delegate has all of the answers; nor do any of the speakers. However, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I find it rewarding to learn from those for whom modest changes have nudged new behaviours – it is not all about flagship projects. Often, a question from the floor will spark a new thought process, that’s why the UK AirRail Conference is different. People come to participate and not just to “listen and network”. As Chairman of the UK AirRail 2014 Conference, I look forward to learning, challenging and listening.”
