Dutch Cafe This project takes us to one of Chicago’s most well-known neighborhoods, Lincoln Square. There is a strong pedestrian and shop presence, with restaurants and a café, combined to retain a high level of energy, attracting a younger generation of inhabitants to join an older firmly rooted German community. The scope of the project was to design a new brand of café restaurant combination for the first two floors of the building and an outdoor dinging area. The café restaurant owner expected an updated design that he sees as beautiful while meeting all the parameters of a safe, functional, small project such as this.
