In-patient services:

24-Hour In-Patient Diagostic Laboratoryo

The clinical laboratory provides both In-patient and Out-patient and equipped with state-of-the -art automated equipment. TheLaboratory is composed of the following different sections: Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood banking, Clinical

Microscopy, and Serology.

24-Hour Pharmacy and Convenience Storeo In cooperation with Nursing Service Department, the unit dose system of drug distribution is practiced. The Pharmacy's

commitment to quality service is not only limited to the in-patients but also out-patients with it 24-hour service.

Cardiovascular Care Units Delivery Rooms Dietary Services

o The Dietary Services also provides osteorized diets in both for In-patient and out-patients. These are special preparations forpatients who are unable to digest solid foods. Dietary counseling/instructions are also offered for patients with diet referrals from

physicians. A dietician visits the patients to discuss their special diets. A cafeteria service is likewise offered.

Emergency Roomo CDUH Emergency Service provides all necessary emergency assistance, evaluation of urgent problems, and referral to specialty

clinics as necessary for patients who are suffering from accidents, trauma, medically or surgically-related problems.The staff

provides immediate treatment for all life threatening and limb threatening emergencies.

Intensive Care Unito The critically ill patient can be assured of competent and prompt services from highly qualified medical specialist and specially

trained nurses exclusively assigned to one patient.

Neonatal Care Unito tertiary unit that provides neonatal services with 21-bed unit uses state-of-the-art technology and specializes in caring, treatments

of high risk premature and critically ill newborns with high level of commitment of quality care.

Out-patient services:

Cardiovascular Laboratory Cebu Lithotripter Centre

o a specified area which deals with patients with urinary stones using a second generation EXTRACORPOREAL LITHOTRIPTERMACHINE (EDAP LT 01 piezoelectric type).

Centre for Cancer Centre for Imaging

o provides clinical services in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, ultrasound, cross sectional (CTScan and MagneticResonance Imaging), and bone mineral densitometry.

Centre for Sight Centre for Women

o offers services such as obstetrics and gynecological procedures. Biopsy and other invasive procedures of the breast are alsoperformed in the centre.

Hematology - This section offers a full range of diagnostic services in hematology, including morphologic studies ofperipheral blood and bone marrow, malarial parasite examination, hemostasis and thrombosis evaluation, and red blood

cells studies. Clinical Microscopy - The advanced stateoftheart microscopy imaging system provides accurate result for

routine (Urine and Stool) examination, Stone Analysis, Body Fluid Analysis, Occult Blood, Pregnancy Test, and Sperm

Analysis. Clinical Chemistry - Chemical Chemistry has fully automated machines which use chemical processes to measure

levels of chemical components in the blood. Histopathology - This section provides a diag nostic service in anatomic pathology and cytopathology. This includes

interpretation of tissues biopsies, fine needle aspirates. Cytological examination of smears, body fluids and

immunohistochemical stains. (ER/PRA/CERB). Microbiology - This section offers wide variety of diagnosis tests with strict quality control measures, it also assists

the patient care facility by helping to identify and control hospital acquired pathogens. Immunoserology - The section is equipped to perform procedures for Antigen and Antibody tests, infectious

diseases like Hepatitis, HIV, Influenza and TORCH. It also offers fluorescent microscopy and fully automated tests for

autoimmune diseases Lupus Anticoagulant/Antiphospholipid Antibody. Drug Testing - The Drug Testing Laboratory performs screening tests for prohibited drugs. (MET/THC) Blood Bank - The Blood Bank stores lifesaving blood and components. Proper screening and crossmatching are to

done to ensure safe and compatible blood. The section provides leucoreduced blood and its components. The section

also offers Aphaeresis procedures for platelet concentrates and plasma exchange. Doctors Clinic
