The wuzzy wasps of Wasperton
Are buzzing round the plums
And sucking all the juicy ones
Before somebody comes
Don’t disturb them if you go
Those wuzzy wasps can STING !
POEM
Grandad says ………
By Irene Yates Grandad says when he was young
Cars and trash were never slung
On to pavements, into streets;
Bags from crisps and wraps from sweets
Went into pockets, not in gutters –
“Blooming mess!” he always mutters.
“Keep things tidy, keep things clean –
Make our world fit to be seen!”
