NURSES WEEK In our home, we come across many nurses. From our dedicated ones on staff to our residents who for decades served to help the sick, we owe nurses so much for their selflessness and devotion to making a difference in the lives of so many. Richview Manor wants to pay a special acknowledgment to these health care providers. It’s National Nurses Week from May 8th until 14th, the latter being the birth date of Florence Nightingale. Thank you all for your service and devotion in a field that makes the lives of the people you touch better.

G-d save the Queen! We’re kicking off the Victoria Day Weekend with a BANG! Spend your holiday with friends and join us on Monday, May 22nd at 2:30 PM in the Grandview dining room for a celebration with live musical entertainment with Jay and delicious refreshments. All are welcome to join in on the fun!

Richview Manor is grateful to mothers everywhere, and to show our deep appreciation for all that they do, we will be holding a fabulous Mother’s Day Party on Thursday May 11th at 2:30 PM complete with musical accompaniment, refreshments, appetizers and desserts. We will also be having Rob for a piano performance that will knock your socks off. You won’t be sorry!

It’s back! By popular demand, the dunk tank will be returning to Richview once again. It was such a hit for everyone; we were able to raise $3,000 for Strides for Stroke 5KM Run/Walk benefitting the Mackenzie Health Foundation! If you’ve wanted to get your revenge on a staff member all year, now is your chance! On Tuesday, May 2nd, the dunk tank will be back on site at 2:30. The Vaughan Fire Department will be here to participate as well. The dunk tank was so much fun last year, and we hope everyone can make it out and have fun with us again.
