The AGM was held on 24th April. We began the meeting with a welcome to all, especially to Barry (Grantham) and his wife Di, who, although retired, are still keen supporters of HOW. Officers (trustees) and honorary officers were elected followed by Chair and Treasurers reports. The AGM was also an opportunity to reflect on the previous year's projects and to signpost our future priorities. Mary Stevenson and Bev Judson are currently in India at Tibetan Home Foundation Schools, Rajpur and Mussoorie to provide a requested Mathematics Improvement Project. We wish them a safe journey, a successful outcome for all involved and we look forward to the reports of the achievements of all upon their return. Greetings to all of HOW's supporters and colleagues everywhere! Officers (trustees) and honorary officers were elected followed by Chair and Treasurers reports. Mary Stevenson and Bev Judson are currently in India at Tibetan Home Foundation Schools, Rajpur and Mussoorie to provide a requested Mathematics Improvement Project. As well as continuing to support our current projects, we are very happy to announce that HOW will be working with TCV Dharamsala once more. In April 2021, we will pilot an English across the Curriculum project with Middle school teachers and students at Upper TCV Dharamsala. A preparatory visit will take place in April 2020 to fine tune our planning in consultation with English Advisor/Resource person Ms Tenzin Pelmo and Education Advisor/Resource person Mr Tenzin Dhargyal . We are grateful to Education Director, Mr Sonam Sichoe, for his encouragement and his endorsement of the project and Mr Migmar Tsering, Secretary to the Director, for continuing to keep us informed.

HOPE ONE WORLDAs always, supporters’ fundraising efforts continue to provide the main source of funding for all our projects.

November 2019At Bishop Eton school Pat hosted a sale of goods which helped raise more than £100. A pre-Christmas Table Sale at Lark Lane Fleamarket successfully raised £100 for our funds, despite an unusually low turnout. Pat, Liz and Bev were happy to see a number of HOW supporters among the shoppers.

February 2019

We hosted a Happy Losar Tibetan Evening to raise funds for our work.

This took place in The Tea House on Lark Lane and was the perfect way to meet up with HOW friends, old and new. As well as raising over £200 from the sale of goods brought from projects overseas, the team enjoyed donning our chupas and raising the Flag in solidarity with our Tibetan friends and

colleagues everywhere.

May 2019 Congratulations went to HOW’s running ace Mary who competed in the Liverpool Rock’n’Roll half marathon on 26th May. Thanks to all who sponsored Mary for this event which raised £700 towards this year’s project.

We are delighted to have a stall at Wirral Earthfest West Kirby on Saturday 21st September. All welcome! Wirral Earth Festival returns for its seventh edition of Earth and People friendly activities! Expect the same mix of live music, storytelling, stalls from makers and interest groups, food, drink and more!
