True to its relevance to the community, FilAm ARTS reaches out to the Filipinohomeland and lends its support to thedevastation caused by Typhoon Haiyanin the Visayan region of the Philippines.

The Missionary Benedictine Sisters ofSt. Scholastica’s College in Tacloban,Leyte is the beneficiary of Hope AfterHaiyan Benefit Dinner.

UxÇxw|và|Çx f|áàxÜáOra et Labora (Prayer and Work) is the guiding monasticrule of the Missionary Benedictine Sisters of the Philippines.Belonging to an international congregation, founded in1885 in Germany, and coming to the Philippines in 1906,the Benedictine Sisters remain devoted to the calling of education and health care, operating eleven schools and one hospital in the Philippine provinces.
