The EZTote is a world-class shipping container — labeled UN31HA1 — that offers all of the economic advantages of a lightweight composite Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) combined with innovative features that make it the strongest and most reusable IBC of its kind. And once you notify the ReturnNet System ® you can rest assured that your empty IBC will be picked up, reconditioned and recycled in an environmentally responsible manner. BOTTLE INNOVATION The EZTote’s fluted bottle design enables tremendous benefits to fillers. Because the bottle nests into a tubular steel frame, actual capacities are 5 gallons/19 liters over standard capacity. This is by far the best in its category. While other IBC manufacturers are thinning out the thickness of their bottles, Hoover has reversed that trend by actually increasing the thickness of its bottles. The average Hoover EZTote is a minimum five pounds heavier than similar totes. CAGE AND PALLET INNOVATION Hoover welds where others may use screws or bolts. This attention to detail is inherent to the EZTote design. It’s the only IBC of its kind that has a pallet and cage that uses advanced welding/bonding technology in every critical joint of the assembly. VALVE INNOVATION The composite IBC industry has made the butterfly valve or piston valve its standard to save themselves money. Hoover has engineered the EZTote against this trend. The standard valve on the Hoover tote is a ball valve that is built for repeated use. Bottle is constructed with High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) formed through a blow molding process. An automatic four-point electro-weld process helps form the zinc-galvanized tubular grid for the cage. The galvanized tubular and sheet steel pallet is formed and robotically welded. This (optional) wood pallet is heat treated and utilizes fir/beech wood materials. High-density, high-molecular weight polyethylene is used in this (optional) extrusion-blow molded pallet.
