    Buddhismhttp://dharmastudy.org/essays/the-pali-canon/

No one knows what language the Buddha actually used to deliver histeachings. It's almost certain that the discourses recorded in the PaliCanon are not verbatim transcripts of the Buddha's words. the Sutta

Pitaka itself is considerably larger than the Old Testament, the NewTestament, and the Koran combined, the whole thing took over sixmonths to recite, and it had become virtually impossible for a single

bhikkhu to memorize in its entirety. So, in order that the teachingswould not be lost, the bhikkhus of the Fourth Council undertook towrite the whole thing down.

Vincint Bulgiosi (the famed prosecutor who prosecuted thenotorious killer Charles Manson) states in his new book:Divinity of Doubt; The God Question (in chapter2)Christianwritings would be inadmissible in court because they all

constitute hearsay and are not properly authenticated. Theoldest manuscripts are not in the language of Jesus Christ.

    Islamhttp://www.quran.net/quran/PreservationOfTheQuran.htm

The Quran was revealed over a period of twenty-three years andwas written down in its entirety during the Prophet's lifetime. It hasbeen established, the Prophet always arranged for each passage ofthe Qur'an to be recorded in writing as soon as it was revealed. This kitabat(writing down on paper) was so meticulous aprocedure.. It was customary for the Prophet to ask the transcriberto read out the verses after writing them down. According to Zaydibn Thabit, if any part was missed out in the writing, he would

correct it and only after this written work was fully completedwould the Prophet allow the propagation of those verses(Majmauz Zawaid, vol.I, p. 60). The number of transcribers whoworked at different times is put at forty-two. According to Ibn

Abdul Bar, Hanzala ibn Rabi was the chief transcriber. He wasasked to remain in the company of the Prophet at all times (AqdAl-Farid, v. 4, p. 114),

a foolproof arrangement whereby a number of the companionspossessed passages of the Qur'an in written form by the time of theProphet's death. A sizeable number, four of whom are worthmentioning: Abu Darda, Muaz ibn Jabal, Zayd ibn Thabit and AbuZayd even possessed the complete Qur'an in its presentarrangement.

Look for statements in the Scripture Itself, as how to prove its

    Authenticity .

The scholarly adherents to Hinduism, Buddhism and Chrisianitythemselves though valuing the Scriptures with Honour haveshown great concern as to its ORIGINALITY. It is also a concern

to realize Jesus Christ(pbuh) has said about the written Bible. How do you say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us?Lo, certainly he made it falsely; the pen of the scribes made it alie.Jeremiah 8:8

What does the Quran say about its authenticity?

*ALLAH is an Arabic word that gives the full meaning of the Creatorof all that exists. In short Allah is uncreated, unborn, formless, all

powerful and beyond ones imagination-refer definition- 112:1-4Muslim is a person who submits his will to the All Mighty. Incidentallythe Arabic Holy Bible uses the word Allah to mean GOD.

    The Buddha said:

Justice: The spokes of the wheel are the rules of pure conduct: justiceis the uniformity of their length; wisdom is the tire; modesty and

thoughtfulness are the hub in which the immovable axle of truth isfixed. From the above it is clear when we Judge others , we must Judgeourselves also with the same yardstick.Thoughtfulness and modesty comes into play when you are

judging somebody who is not from the same background Finally itis with this understanding that you make the final decision foryour judgment: you would want others not to take undueadvantage of the judgment or spread mischief because of it!

Action:- Do not believe in anything just because you have heard it.- Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down formany generations.- Do not believe in anything because it is spoken and rumored by many.

    - Do not believe in anything just because it is found written in yourreligious books.- Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachersand elders. But after observation and analysis when you find that anything agreeswith reason and is conductive to the good and benefit of one and allthen accept it and live up to it.

Here if someone tries to understand out of context you willfind a foolish suggestion. However the last statement gives youa clue, that the minimum requirement to act upon rumor is, itmust benefit All. More benefit to society will arise if oneobserves and analyses before implementation.Unity: "A man that stands alone, having decided to obey the truth, may be weak and slip back into his old ways. Therefore, stand yetogether, assist one another, and strengthen one another's efforts. 2

"Be like unto brothers; one in love, one in holiness, and one in yourzeal for the truth. 3 "Spread the truth and preach the doctrine in allquarters of the world, so that in the end all living creatures will becitizens of the kingdom of righteousness.

Un-Clean: "Reading the Vedas(Religious Books), makingofferings to priests, or sacrifices to the gods, self-mortification byheat or cold, and many such penances performed for the sake ofimmortality, these do not cleanse the man who is not free from

    delusions.

"Anger, drunkenness, obstinacy, bigotry, deception, envy, selfpraise, disparaging others, superciliousness and evil intentions

constitute uncleanness; not verily the eating of flesh.

Ignorance: Ignorance causes the ruin of the world.

    ### As there is no question of the credibility of other GreatReligious Leaders, let us only focus on ProphetMuhammad(pbuh)

1.The Prophet PBUH was well-known among his people for honestybefore his prophethood, and used to be called "al-Ameen" (theTrustworthy). This is a name that would not be given except to onewho was extremely truthful, trustworthy and upright.

2.Even his enemies testified to this. Abu Jahl, in spite of his hatred forthe Prophet PBUH and denial of him, knew that he was truthful. Aman asked him, "Is Muhammad truthful or is he a liar?" He replied,"Woe to you! By Allah, Muhammad is truthful and he has never told

    a lie.

Abu Sufyan said,"No". So Heraclius concluded, "I knew from what you told me that hewould not have refrained from lying to people and then lie about Allahthe Almighty."

4.And his wife, Khadijah may Allah be pleased with her, when the

Prophet PBUH came back to her, trembling and saying, "Wrap meup," after revelation first descended upon him in the cave of Hiraa',said to him, "Good tidings! No, by Allah, Allah will never humiliateyou. For you keep ties with relatives and you speak the truth..." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) *Emperor of Rome

    5.Ibn `Abbas may Allah be pleased with him reported: "After the verse'And warn your closest kinsmen'[1] was revealed, The Messenger ofAllah PBUH went out, climbed the hill of Safa and shouted to get theirattention. They said, "What's this?" and gathered before him. Headdressed them, saying;

"If I was to inform you that horsemen were in the valley behind thishill ready to attack you, would you believe me?" They replied, "Yes,

    6. O king! We were plunged in the depth of ignorance and barbarism;we adored , we lived in unchastity, we ate the dead bodies, andidolswe spoke abominations, we disregarded every feeling of humanity,and the duties of hospitality and neighbourhood were neglected;

we knew no law but that of the strong, when raised among usAllaha man, of whose birth, truthfulness, honesty, and purity we wereaware; and he called to the Oneness of Allah and taught us not to

associate anything with Him. He forbade us the worship of idols;and he enjoined us to speak the truth, to be faithful to our trusts, tobe merciful and to regard the rights of the neighbours and kith andkin; he forbade us to speak evil of women, or to eat the substance oforphans; he ordered us to fly from the vices, and to abstain from

evil; to offer prayers, to render alms, and to observe fast. We havebelieved in him, we have accepted his teachings and his injunctionsto worship Allah and not to associate anything with Him, and wehave allowed what He has allowed, and prohibited what He has

prohibited. For this reason, our people have risen against us, havepersecuted us in order to make us forsake the worship of Allah andreturn to the worship of idols and other abominations. They havetortured and injured us, until finding no safety among them, we havecome to your country, and hope you will protect us from oppression.

The chiefs of Quraish decided to use only licit money inrebuilding Al-Ka'bah, so all money that derived from harlotry, usury orunjust practices was excluded. They were, at first, too awed to knockdown the wall, but Al-Waleed bin Al-Mugheerah Al-Mukhzumi

started the work. Seeing that no harm had happened to him, the othersparticipated in demolishing the walls until they reached the basis laidby Abraham.

When they started rebuilding its walls, they divided the work among

the tribes. Each tribe was responsible for rebuilding a part of it. Thetribes collected stones and started work. The man who laid the stoneswas a Roman mason called Baqum. The work went on in harmony tillthe time came to put the sacred Black Stone in its proper place. Thenstrife broke out among the chiefs, and lasted

for four or five days, each contesting for the honour of placing thestone in its position. Daggers were on the point of being drawn andgreat bloodshed seemed imminent. Luckily, the oldest among thechiefs Abu Omaiyah bin Mugheerah Al-Makhzumi made a proposal

which was accepted by all. He said: "Let him, who enters theSanctuary first of all, decide on the point."

most famous men created arms, laws and empires only. Theyfounded, if anything at all, no more than material powers whichoften crumbled away before their eyes. This man moved not onlyarmies, legislations, empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions

This dogma was twofold, the unit of God and theimmateriality of God; the former telling what God is, the latter

telling what God is not; the one overthrowing false gods with thesword, the other starting an idea with words. "Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rationaldogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial
