Exam 2 Format

Our second exam will be composed of 35 multiple-choice questions and is worth 35 total points. Once begun, the exam will remain open for 21 minutes.

Questions will be drawn from the terms and concepts provided in the Study Guides and, at times, may include images taken from within the assigned chapters of the textbook. Questions without images will focus on the basic materials, techniques, categories and terms of art-making associated with the various art media. Questions with images will focus on identifying the medium of an image or applying the correct term or category to an image.

Examples where an image from the textbook would be shown (here, figure 5.8 in 10th edition)(students with different editions please look up Head of Michael Podro by Frank Auerbach, 1981:
