Homework for the week of October 24th Due Monday, October 31st (or earlier) States of Matter Use the board provided. Put a title and your name at the top and split the bottom into three sections. Label each section with one state of matter. Option 1 Represent the particles in the 3 states of matter using common household objects. Food works well. Dried cereal (Fruit Loops or Cheerios), dried beans or peas, MMs or Skittles are a few ideas. Washers, buttons, and eraser tips are some non- food examples. You can draw a container for each particle if you would like. Option 2 Find examples of the 3 states of matter in magazines or pictures from the internet. You will need to use the thumbnail (small) size pictures from the internet. Ask a parent before you cut up their magazines and have parent supervision if using the internet. Option 3 Combine the above 2 ideas into one. Yes, parent help is allowed. See example on the back. Have fun with this project!
