HOME SHOW EXHIBITOR’S CONTRACT

Agreement between the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association, hereinafter called “Association,” and “Exhibitor,” for exhibiting in the West Branch Susquehanna Builders Association Home Show to be held at the Lycoming College Recreation Center, 508 Mulberry Street, Williamsport, PA, on March 13-15, 2020.

Exhibit hours shall be:

Friday, March 13, 2020 3 PM to 8 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 10 AM to 8 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 12 PM to 4 PM

In consideration of the mutual covenants set forth below, the parties agree as follows:

1. Exhibits:

• Must be constructed and operated in good taste and in the best interest of the show.

• Clean and well maintained, the booth is the responsibility of the Exhibitor.

• ALL DISPLAYS MUST BE RESTRAINED WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE EXHIBITOR’S BOOTH OR BOOTHS. Firstfloor – 8’ deep; second floor – 6’ deep.

• Backdrops will be provided in the form of 8' curtains. Side curtains shall also be provided.

• Use of electricity shall be limited to one 110 volt, 5 amp electrical outlet (provided ateach booth). No compressors or heaters nor any equipment requiring more than 5amps may be connected or powered.

• EXHIBITORS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN EXTENSION CORDS.

2. Exhibitor agrees to be on-site during all scheduled Show hours; and, shall not assign nor sublet any part of thespace herein contracted.

3. Insurance:

• Insurance desired by Exhibitor must be secured at his own expense.

• The Association will not be responsible nor will they guarantee any Exhibitor against loss of any kind.

• All Exhibitors MUST provide a Certificate of Insurance with the West Branch Susquehanna BuildersAssociation Home Show as the named insured prior to assignment and occupation of booth. Theminimum coverage amount is to be $500,000.

4. Unnecessary noises, loud attention-getters or loud radio, TV, organ music or any other type of noisydemonstration, including PA systems are forbidden. Video equipment, including slide projectors, computersand TV’s, may be used provided that any accompanying audio is maintained at a level so as not to disturb otherExhibitors.

5. Exhibitors liability:

• Exhibitors are liable for any damage caused to the building, floors, walls, columns or ceilings, or toprovided booth equipment (including contracted rental of skirted table & chairs and/or carpeting), orto other Exhibitors’ property.

• Exhibitor is prohibited from using any fasteners of any type including tape to secure any portion ofhis/her exhibit to the floor.

• Exhibitors may not apply paint, lacquer, adhesive, tape or any other coating to building columns, flooror walls or to provided booth equipment.

• No signs or display materials may be fastened to or suspended from the booth drapes, building orsecond floor railing.

• Signs or banners may be hung within the booth area with hooks over the curtain rods. No banners orsigns may exceed the height of the booth curtain for all booths located in back-to-back rows.

• Materials for decorations, etc. shall be flame-proof type.

6. Banners: Exhibitors may RENT railing space to display a banner advertisement overlookingthe first floor.

• Railing space will be rented at the rate of $8.00 per running lineal foot to Booth Holders only.

• Banners may be up to a maximum height of 4 feet, but with no length restriction. Grommets arerequired along the top edge of banner at 2 ft intervals.

• Banner placement to be determined by the EO and Home Show chairman.

7. All Exhibitors are to set up during the following time periods only:

• Wednesday, March 11, 2020 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm

• Thursday, March 12, 2020 8:00 am until 6:00 pm

• Exhibits must be completely set up by 6:00 pm on Thursday. Any exhibitor failing to occupy contracted boothspace by 6:00 pm, Thursday, March 14, 2019, without notification will forfeit the full rental for such space. Ifnot occupied by the time set for the completion of installation of displays, such space may be possessed by theAssociation for such purpose as it may see fit for the enhancement of the Show.

8. DISASSEMBLY OF EXHIBITS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED PRIOR TO 4:00 PM, SUNDAY.

• TEARDOWN MAY BEGIN AT 4 PM, AND MUST BE COMPLETED BY 6 PM.

• All booth materials must be removed from the Rec Center and Lycoming College property by 6:00 pmSunday evening or they will be removed by the Association and the Exhibitor charged for disposal ofsaid material with no liability to the WBSBA for such disposal.

• A fee will be levied upon any exhibitor who leaves any debris in the building or upon any exhibitor who hasnot completely removed his display by 6:00 pm, Sunday, March 17, 2019.

9. If in the event of an emergency, it becomes necessary to postpone or cancel the show prior to the grand opening, allmoney paid by the Exhibitor for space will be refunded and the Exhibitor shall waive any claim for damages.

10. The Association reserves the right to alter locations of Exhibitors or of booths as shown on the official floor plan ifdeemed in the best interest of the show.

11. NO SMOKING WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FACILITY.

• Outside doors must not be propped open.

• Doors will have audible alarms and be monitored by Lycoming College Security alarm system.

• An area will be designated for smoking near the exterior of the main entrance.

12. PROTECTION OF THE RECREATION CENTER FLOORING IS REQUIRED:

• No food or beverages will be allowed in Exhibition areas, with 2 exceptions only: bottled water and coffee.

• All MAIN floor exhibitors must provide floor covering for their entire booth space to protect floor.

• The WBSBA will provide tape to secure the carpet edge. No other tape will be permitted.

• No floor covering is required on the suspended track for second level exhibitors.

13. PARKING. All Exhibitors are asked to park in the Franklin Street & East Fourth Street lots, reserving the Mulberry Streetlots for your customers. No overnight parking will be permitted for vendors’ vehicles and trailers on college propertylots. The association will assess a $100 penalty fee for each vehicle and each trailer per night.

14. The Exhibitor agrees:

• That his/her exhibit shall be assembled and shall remain from day to day solely in strict compliance with therules herein laid down.

• All exhibits are to be of a display type, presenting a message to the prospective buyer or to the home-owningpatron and are to be neatly maintained throughout the show.

• No packing cartons, crates, etc. may be stored where visible to visitors of the show.

• The display must basically pertain to the product or products being merchandised.

• Any promotional materials, door prizes, etc. must be displayed in an aside manner and constitute not morethan 5% of the display materials.

15. The Exhibitor agrees that all Home Show participants of his/her firm will have an authorized exhibitor’s badge holder orpay the daily entrance fee to gain admission. EXHIBITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT ALL EMPLOYEEPARTICIPANTS HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF ALL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS.

16. The Association reserves the right to reject, eject, or prohibit any exhibit in whole or in part, or any Exhibitor or hisrepresentatives. If cause is not given, liability shall not exceed the return to Exhibitor of the amount of the rentalunearned at the time of ejection. If any exhibit or Exhibitor is ejected for violation of these rules, or for any other statedreasons, no refund of rental fee shall be made.

17. All matters or questions not specifically covered by the preceding rules and regulations shall be subject solely tothe decisions of the Association. These rules and regulations may be amended at any time by the Association, providingthat such amendments shall not operate to substantially increase the liability of the Exhibitor. All amendments so madeshall be binding upon all Exhibitors equally with the foregoing rules and regulations. All special requests by Exhibitorsshall be directed in writing to the WBSBA Home Show Chairperson or the Executive Officer.

18. The Exhibitors, for themselves and their employees, agree to abide with the foregoing rules and regulations and by anyamendments or additions thereto that may hereafter be established or put into effect by the Association, provided thatsuch amendments or additions shall not operate to substantially diminish rights not reserved to Exhibitor under thecontract and shall not operate to substantially increase the liability of the Exhibitor.

19. The rules governing this Show have been established to benefit everyone and to be fair to everyone on an equal basis.Please abide by them. Remember, the success or failure of this Show depends on its Exhibitors. Let’s all try to makethis our best Home Show ever.

WBSBA will contact you prior to the Home Show with additional information, and set-up instructions. Set-up Information will be emailed in late February.

Advance purchase tickets, and three (3) exhibitor badges (request more if needed) will be provided at check in.
