Darius Wells Library and Resource CentreThe Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre is located on the corner of Robbos Way and Chisham Avenue, Kwinana Town Centre.

The Darius Wells offers an array of spaces for holding modern functions, meetings and conferences, including the Ken Jackman Hall with a capacity of 300 as well as training and IT rooms, art and activity spaces and community meeting rooms. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the facility.

KEN JACKMAN HALL

Located on the ground floor, the Ken Jackman Hall is the only function room in the Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre featuring acoustic bi-fold doors that provide users with the option of creating a more intimate space.

Located on the first floor, the David Nelson Art and Design Room features a hard floor finish and opens onto a shared balcony.

Located on the first floor, the Alf Lydon Meeting Room is ideal for small training groups or meetings.

John Wellard Community CentreThe John Wellard Community Centre is located the corner of Runnymede Gate and The Strand, Wellard.

The John Wellard Community Centre has modern function and meeting facilities for your next program, workshop or event, building upon the already radiant Wellard lifestyle.

The ground floor foyer offers public PC stations, printing facilities, couches, tables and chairs.

BORONIA MEETING/TRAINING ROOM

Located on the first floor, the Boronia Meeting/Training Room is the largest function room in the John Wellard Community Centre. The room features bi-fold doors, providing users with the option of creating a more intimate space.

PIXIE MOPS CRÈCHE

The Pixie Mops Crèche is specially designed for little ones. It’s perfect for playgroups, children’s birthday parties and is suitable for a staffed crèche service. The crèche service is for hirers and participants of activities within the John Wellard Community Centre.

Medina Hall ComplexThe Medina Hall complex is located on Pace Road, Medina.

The complex features two hireable facilities, Medina Hall and the Isabella Corker Wing. Both halls can be hired together or separately. An enclosed courtyard is located between the two spaces.

MEDINA HALL

Medina Hall is the largest hireable facility within the City of Kwinana. The refurbished hall features a large open space with an elevated stage and dressing rooms. The facility is an ideal venue for large functions, weddings, performances and graduations.

The Isabella Corker Wing is a meeting/activity space located on the left of Medina Hall. The room can be hired separately to the main hall and is ideal for meeting or smaller scale activities.

Orelia Oval ComplexThe Orelia Oval complex is located on Elmore Place, Orelia.

Fiona Harris Pavilion is the only two-storey hall within the City of Kwinana. The pavilion features two rooms available to be hired separately and each has their own kitchen facilities. The pavilion is situated amongst Orelia, Gilmore and Orelia Hockey Oval that are popular amongst local sporting groups.

Thomas Oval ComplexThe Thomas Oval complex is located on the corner of Tucker Street and Rowson Place, Medina.

The Thomas Oval Complex consists of two hireable facilities, the Thomas Kelly Pavilion and Thomas hall. Both facilities are located on Thomas Oval, an oval consisting of six ovals that are popular amongst local sporting groups.

THOMAS KELLY PAVILION

Thomas Kelly pavilion is an ideal hireable space for large functions such as birthday parties, wedding and functions. The Pavilion is located at the top of Rowson Place overlooking Thomas Oval and Kelly Park.

Located on Tucker Street, Thomas Hall is a smaller sized facility ideal for smaller gatherings or groups using Thomas Oval.

Consisting of six large ovals, Thomas Oval is the largest oval space within Kwinana. The ovals can accommodated for sports such as soccer, rugby, softball, tee ball and many more.

Thomas Netball Courts consist of five outdoor courts including one multi-use court for basketball.

Wellard Oval ComplexThe Wellard Complex is located on Wellard Road, Wellard.

The complex consists of Wellard Pavilion and Wellard Oval.

WELLARD PAVILION

Wellard Pavilion is a smaller sized facility with a main hall area and basic kiosk. It is ideal for smaller sized meetings, activities and functions.

William Bertram Community CentreThe William Bertram Community Centre is located on the corner of Hero Crescent and Johnson Road, Bertram.

The Community Centre is suitable for a range of creative, educational and social programs. It includes a fully functional shared kitchen, foyer with comfortable lounge seating and a shared courtyard.

MARRI MEETING AND TRAINING ROOM

The Marri Meeting and Training Room is ideal for small training groups or meetings.

Parks, Ovals and ReservesThe City has a wide variety of parks and reserves that are available for hire. Each of these spaces can be view on the City of Kwinana website.

Kwinana Adventure ParkHiding amongst the trees at Calista Oval is Kwinana’s state-of-the-art destination play space, the Kwinana Adventure Park. Young explorers will enjoy hours climbing and crawling through the giant tree maze, or keeping cool under the water jets in the splash pad.

THE PATIO

The Patio is located within the Kwinana Adventure Park. This sheltered space features a kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave as well as BBQs and picnic benches.

Community BusThe Community Bus is available to hire for community, commercial and local groups only. This bus is not available for private use. The bus cannot be kept overnight or be taken further than a 100km radius from Kwinana.

People with a sufficient bus license can drive the bus, or a driver can be hired through the City of Kwinana.

Seating: The Community Bus seats a maximum of 25 including the driver
