Home Base in the Summer Institutes
Addressing Home Base at Summer Institute
Home Base will be integrated in a variety of ways throughout Summer Institutes
In all sessions, it will be Advertised: Topics, tools and resources will be purposefully mentioned during the session, so that participants will recognize or remember them.
In some sessions, it will be Explored: Topics, tools and resources will be demonstrated for participants, so that participants will better understand them.
In the sessions specifically about Home Base, it will be
Facilitated Use: Participants will be engaged with the topics, tools or concepts in an aligned, purposeful way that supports the session topic.

Summary: This site comprises six lesson activities including the definition of a fraction, equivalent fractions, addition of fractions, and multiplication of fractions. Students may respond online to get immediate feedback, or they can work the examples on grid paper.
