Issue 13 Fall 2014
Holy Trinity/St. Michael Fall 2014 Newsletter
Dear Friends,
A blessed Autumn to all. As we see the beautiful
color and feel the crispness in the air, we rejoice in
God’s wonderful gift of nature. The changes in
nature bring us to the transitional month of
November. The first Sunday of November is All
Soul’s Day, celebrated even if it falls on a Sunday.
A special remembrance service will be led by
Deacon Ralph on November 2nd at 7 p.m. at St.
Michael. I will offer a Mass for the dead at St. John
of God Chapel on Wednesday November 5th at
11:00 a.m., with a procession to the cemetery.
Before long it will be Thanksgiving with Mass at
9:00 a.m. November 27th at St. Michael. As you can
see, November has many prayer opportunities.
I can’t believe Christmas is so near, but time
marches on. Enjoy the Autumn season, as well as
the upcoming Advent and Christmas seasons!
Peace,
Fr. Ed Kornath
Letter from the Principal
Dear Parish Members:
I am honored and excited to return as the
principal of this incredible parish school with
such an excellent reputation and tradition. I’m
happy to report that we have more than a 10%
increase in enrollment as we heartily welcome
12 new families to Holy Trinity School this
year.
We’re very grateful for some generous
financial gifts, Joel and Pam Fleischman, for
the second year in a row, have sponsored the
Night Golf Outing and donated the $27,000 to
the school. We’re also grateful to the couple
(who wish to remain anonymous) who, in lieu
of gifts, asked their guests to donate to the
school in honor of their 50th
anniversary.
We’re enjoying a great beginning with
beautifully behaved children who make us
proud of them every day. I can’t begin to recall
the number of compliments our children have
received from visitors to the school and church.
For example, the photographer who visits many
schools, said our children were the best
behaved, most polite group he had encountered!
A prospective parent called to inquire about our
school because she had noticed the successes of
our alumni high school students. She wants this

for her daughter. Substitute teachers love to
come here to teach because the children are
such a joy.
We are working to fulfill our mission to further
the Gospel here on earth through the children
and families of our parishes. I’d like to express
our undying gratitude for all the support you
provide us with your donations of time, talent,
and treasure.
God Bless,

Holy Trinity School News
Holy Trinity staff, students and families want to
thank our parish family and everyone who
supports the school by money donations,
volunteering, attending/participating in
fundraisers, thoughts and prayers, etc.
The classrooms and hallways at Holy Trinity
School are back with laughter and learning
from the summer’s break. The school year
started out with a very successful Open House
where students and families were welcomed
backed, new families were introduced, students
and families had a chance to visit their new
teacher and classroom and unpack school
supplies. And, of course, the students were
excited to see all their friends again. The turn
out for the Open House was outstanding. This
year the school has welcomed 12 new families
and the enrollment is up to 102 students. The
3K/4K class has 16 students. This is very
exciting.
The School staff is:
Principal Mrs. Jodi Casetta, 3K/4K Mrs.
Wendy Schuetz, K5 Mrs. Mary Breuer, Grade 1
Mrs. Elisabeth Simon, grade 2 Mrs. Doreen
Kowalczyk, grade 3 Mrs. Melissa Buechel,
grade 4 Mrs. Rosanne Hefter, grade 5 Mrs.
Amy Trayner, grade 6 Mrs. Jean Hubert, grade
7 Mr. Ben Sawdo, grade 8 Mrs. Ellen Westphal
Kuphal, Art Mrs. Cheryl Hofschulte, Physical
Education Mr. Leonard Riemersma, Secretary
Mrs. Shawn Roberts, Janitorial Services Mr.
Andy Pesch, Food Service Mrs. Wendy
Muckerheide, Mrs. Nancy Leister, Mrs. Kerry
Felten, Mrs. Cindy Schickert.
WWJD stands for “What Would Jesus Do?”
When students are observed doing something
kind, generous, “something what Jesus would
do”, etc., their name gets put into a bucket and
a drawing is done on a weekly basis for a small
token. WWJD winners this year have been:
Brooke Muckerheide, Ella Geidel, Dawson
Zillmer, Taylor Daniel, Victoria
Quissek, Sam Melzer, Lydia Geidel, Micahael
Missall, Si Qi Gundrum, Macy Fleischman,
Natalie Sebo, Sydney Wheaton, Rhea Dricken,
Natalie Krueger, Maya Butschlick, Luke
Okrent, Izzy Butler, Maddie Marquardt, Olivia
Olson, David Zillmer, Ashleigh Hein, and
Everett Quissek. Great job to all students who
have won and all of them who earned W.W. J.
D. tickets so far this year.
Some of the events students have done this year
already include: grades 5-8 attended the play,
Anne Frank, and grades 5K-2 went on a
firehouse visit. Upcoming, the 3K/4K/5K
students are looking forward to a pumpkin farm
visit, while the other grades visit the Riveredge
Nature Preserve. We have activities planned for
Grandparents day on November 7th, a
Thanksgiving Feast on November 19th
, and a
Christmas Concert on December 18th
.
Again, thanks to the parish and the community
who supports Holy Trinity School.
Holy Trinity Building & Grounds
Storm windows have been exchanged for the
summer screens. Air conditioners have also
been taken out and put to rest, thanks to the
help of John Spaeth and Chuck Nevsimal. As I
have mentioned before, these screens and
storms are rotting away. Maybe we should be
looking into just putting a combination storm
and screen in place of the present storms and
3
screens. That way the changing would be over
with.
Help Wanted – Crew leaders for cleaning
church twice a month. At the present time, we
have only five leaders. Back in 2001, we also
had five leaders. In 2002, we gained six crew
leaders, so we were up to ten. Over the years,
we have not gained any new leaders but we
have lost nine due to moves, deaths, or other
reasons so some of us are there more than one
month a year. So show your Stewardship to
your parish and our place of worship.
Schedules will be made out the first part of
December. Please call the rectory for more
details.
The church boiler and some of the connecting
piping have been fixed, also replacement of
steam traps. Boiler treatment of water has been
updated. School water pipes from water main
have been replaced. Rectory boiler, which has
broken down, is in the works of being replaced.
Also, the church refrigerator, which was 40
years old, has been replaced. There is a big
thank you in order for Mike S. for repairing a
rectory window that was broken. Thanks for a
job well done.
Trick or Treat Stewardship
This October 25th
, here in Kewaskum, little
goblins, superheroes and princesses descended
upon our doorsteps seeking treats and goodies.
If we think about it, our relationship with God
is sometimes like that Halloween tradition. We,
like children, eagerly come to God’s doorstep
when we want something. We come to God for
blessings, requests of help for ourselves or
someone else, for strength in times of trouble,
and, most importantly, for the gift of Jesus in
the Eucharist at Mass.
All of these are available to us if we knock at
God’s door. If our relationship with God is
based solely on our asking and God giving, we
are like the neighborhood children coming to
our door. There is no relationship. God is
always at the door waiting for us to knock. He
wants to give us love, joy, faith and blessings.
However, God’s gifts come with a purpose and
responsibility. He gives them to us to be shared,
and shared abundantly, with others.
As we stand at the doorstep of God to receive
His gifts, we are to receive them graciously,
cultivate them responsibly, and return a fitting
portion back to God with gratitude. If we do
this, we are no longer just neighborhood
children knocking on God’s door, but truly His
daughters and sons.
Joint Human Concerns
The joint Holy Trinity/St. Michael Human
Concerns Committee continues to work along
with all parishioners to meet material and
spiritual needs in our parishes, communities,
and beyond.
Members of the committee and other volunteers
join together in prayer each Wednesday or
Thursday in October along with residents at
Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum. The
residents are very appreciative of all volunteers
who visit with them and lead them in praying
the Rosary. Advent devotions will begin at
Kettle Moraine Gardens on the first Wednesday
of Advent. Continuing throughout the year, the
committee organizes and staff’s volunteers who
host bingo at Kettle Moraine Gardens every
Tuesday evening for all residents. Small prizes
are provided to all participants. Monetary
donations for prizes can be made directly to
Diane Piwoni in the parish office. If you would
like to volunteer for the prayer ministry at
Kettle Moraine Gardens, please call Sharon
Ellefson at 629-5670.
If you are a person of action, the Helping
Hands group needs you! Activities this time of
year include fall yard clean up for seniors in our
parish and community. If you could lend a
helping hand on a future project, please call
Nick Walters at 692-3690. This is a great
volunteer opportunity for fathers and sons.

Thanks to everyone who helped with a
monetary gift during the Baby Bottle
Fundraiser held during Respect Life Month that
benefited the Seed of Hope Center. What a
wonderful, practical, and supportive way to
demonstrate our belief in the sacredness of all
life from the moment of conception until
natural death.
The annual winter Clothing Drive is always
held the first Saturday of November. Gently
used winter clothing was collected and
distributed to those in need. Thanks to the many
parishioners who collected, washed and
cleaned, and sorted many donations of warm
coats, jackets, hats, gloves, sweatshirts, pants,
jeans, and gently worn shoes and boots.
Recipients for the donations were pleased to
accept our contributions again this year. Thanks
also to the volunteers who contributed to the
success of this event.
Coming soon in Advent is the Giving Tree
project. Planning and ornament making is
already underway. This project is always a
shining example of the generosity of our faith
communities, as shown by the hundreds of gifts
that are donated to over a handful of charitable
organizations. Please consider sharing God’s
blessings with those less fortunate as you begin
to budget and prepare for the upcoming Advent
and Christmas seasons.
Ongoing ministries of the committee include
the remembrance of Seniors and Adopt a
Seminarian. The Seniors include parish
members residing in care facilities or who are
homebound. Committee members and other
volunteers remember them with cards and visits
on their birthday as well as gifts at Christmas
and Easter. The Seminarians are men studying
for the priesthood in the Archdiocese of
Milwaukee. They are also remembered on their
birthday, Christmas, and Easter with cards and
notes of encouragement. Please include the
Seniors and Seminarians in your prayers. If
you are interested in sponsoring a Senior,
please contact Dianne Pesch at 626-4501 and to
Adopt a Seminarian, please contact Judy
Harlow at 626-4202.
The Human Concerns Committee is an active
group, but we could reach out to even more
people in need with an increase in members. If
God is calling you to put your faith into action,
please consider attending one of our meetings
or offering your help to one of the project
leaders named in this article. The committee
typically meets the first Thursday of the month
at 7:00 p.m. in the church hall at Holy Trinity
(however, we will not be meeting in
December). For more information about
upcoming meetings, contact Vicki Heideman at
626-1317.

The Holy Trinity Advisory Board and
Subcommittees Update
There have been some changes with the School
Advisory Board this new school year including
a new Chairperson and Vice chairperson,
meeting date, and sub-committees. The School
Advisory Board now meets the 2nd
Thursday of
the month starting at 5:30 pm. Board members
participate in decision making in areas that
5
include planning, policy review and enactment,
finances, development including public
relations, and marketing.
The Advisory Board’s number one role, as the
Bylaws state, is to “serve as a consultative body
that assists the Principal in fulfilling the
school’s mission.” The Advisory Board
supports the Principal, Mrs. Casetta and the
goals she and the teachers have set for the
school. The Advisory Board also supports the
families of Holy Trinity School. Current
members include: Advisory Board Chair –
Heidi Butler, Advisory Board Vice Chair –
Paul Sebo, Advisory Board Secretary – Joanne
Geidel, Principal – Jody Casetta, Father Ed,
Parish Council Liaison – Jeff Butler, Lynn
Quissek, Pat Adelmann, and Sandy
Krautkramer. Questions, comments and
suggestions are always welcome to be
discussed. The Advisory Board is always
looking for new members to join the board and
help support the mission. There is no
requirement for board members to have
children attending Holy Trinity School and the
board has a mixture of varied talents. If you are
interested, please contact Heidi Butler. The
Advisory Board will be hosting Fellowship
Sunday after 7:30 am Mass on January 18,
2015. Please join us.
With the great effort of Kelly Marquardt,
Advisory Board, and Finance Committee we
are happy to announce that Scrip is now
available online! Scrip is one of the fundraisers
for school and is very easy to use. Scrip is
dollar for dollar, and it is money you already
spend. Instead of the usual usage of credit/debit
card or other money when purchasing everyday
items like gas or groceries, you can purchase a
retail gift card and the school earns money.
There is a wide variety of retailers. Please call
school for more details.
Technology Committee was busy this summer
installing 20 Internet access points through the
school building, as well as, a new data switch.
All equipment and time was donated by Ben
Sawdo’s friend, Matthew Heyes. A big thank
you to Ben and Matthew for all their hard work
throughout the summer! The seventh grade
Smart Board has arrived, which was purchased
with money raised from Social Fest.
Advancement Committee has been working on
the Annual Fund, as well as, continuing to
focus on the marketing plan.
Thank you to everyone, the Parish, teachers,
school staff, all committees and subcommittees,
as well as, our volunteers who continue to help
make Holy Trinity a school to be proud of!
Spiritual Lending Library
.
As always, we invite everyone from either
parish to use our library for their spiritual
reading.
Books that have been added recently are listed
below:
JOY OF THE GOSPEL by Pope Francis;
REMAINING CATHOLIC (six good reasons
for staying in an imperfect church) by Rev.
Martin Pable, OFM Cap.; MADE FOR
MORE by Curtis Martin; IN HIS SPIRIT (a
guide to today’s spirituality) by Richard J.
Hauser, S.J.; PRAYER, A PRACTICAL
GUIDE, by Rev. Martin Pable, OFM Cap.;
THOMAS AQUINAS by Roberta Barron;
FINDING LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS (a
journey through the Stations of the Cross) by
Fr. Dan Farley; HE TAUGHT LOVE (Jesus’
lessons for living); WHERE JESUS
WALKED (a book of photographs and facts to
the Holy Land) and BUTLER’S LIVES OF
THE SAINTS.
A few children’s books have been added as
well. Also, we invite the children to check out
any saint’s books when they are looking for
their favorite saint to dress up as, or report on
for their religion classes.

Pastoral Council News
It has been some time since the Pastoral
Council has had an update. Since that is the
case, it may be good to have a review of the
role of the Pastoral Council and it’s members.
The Holy Trinity Pastoral Council members for
the current year are Fr. Ed, Jeff Buechel, Jeff
Butler, Paul Dean, Jim Hawig, Jim Leister,
Chas Nevsimal and Brian Wildt. The role of the
Pastoral Council is one of consultation and
planning. The Archdiocese of Milwaukee
defines the role as follows: The Pastoral
Council shall be a vehicle for the parish to
fulfill the pastoral mission of Jesus and the
Church in a specific part of the Archdiocese. It
does this by developing Catholic identity,
promoting evangelization, and fostering
stewardship. The council shall strive to build a
community of disciples who recognize their
baptismal calls to lives of holiness, witness, and
service. The Council shall engage in a
continuous process of pastoral planning, which
takes into account the needs and priorities of its
parishioners, the Archdiocese, the broader
community, and the world. The Council shall
be the consultative and planning body in
regards to pastoral activity except to the extent
limited by faith and morals, church or civil law
or archdiocesan policy. The Council possesses
a consultative vote only. The Holy Trinity
Pastoral Council meets monthly along with the
Joint Pastoral Council on the third Tuesday of
each month with the exception of July. The
location alternates between Holy Trinity and St.
Michael.

Council Chair
Family Promise
St. Michael and Holy Trinity will again assist
Peace Church in mid December when they host
homeless families through Family Promise. We
feel blessed to be able to help out these families
at this time of year. Special activities will be
planned each night to bring a little holiday
cheer to their stay at Peace. Consider having
your family spend a few hours with those
families in need of a little compassion, love,
and acceptance during the Advent season. Look
to the bulletin for more information after
Thanksgiving.
Holy Trinity Scrip News
Want to help Holy Trinity and pay your
propane bill at the same time? Herriges Oil and
Strobel Oil of Kewaskum have teamed up with
Holy Trinity Scrip Program to help earn money
for the school at no extra cost to you. All you
need to do is bring in your bill to school, with
your check written out to Holy Trinity Scrip for
the amount due, and we will pay the bill for you
at a discount that pays back to Holy Trinity.
These local businesses have agreed to give 2-
3% back as a way to help out Holy Trinity. If
you have any questions or are interested in
other ways you could support the scrip
program, please call the school office at 262-
626-2603.
Holy Trinity Finance Council
In August, Holy Trinity officially adopted the
Finance Council Norms of the Archdiocese of
Milwaukee. We are now called the Finance
Council, not the Finance Committee. Our role
has slightly changed in that Finance is now
more of an authoritative body, whereas in the
past, we were advisory to the Parish Council.
This will allow the Parish Council (which is
now called the Pastoral Council) to focus more
on the mission of the church. According to
rules issued by the Archdiocese, Finance
meetings are no longer open to visitors as we
frequently discuss salaries and other
confidential issues. If you wish to present a
proposal to Finance, please call Tom Tobin,
Chairperson in advance, to schedule your
proposal into the next Finance meeting agenda.
7
Finance members this year are Frank Beesten,
Paul Dean, Tom Tobin, Jim Leister, Jim Hawig,
Jeff Buechel, Tim Rohlinger, and Fr. Ed.
We want to extend a huge thank you to
outgoing members, Shirley Kempf, Mary Ellen
McElhatton, Jane Dean, and Joanne Weisling.
These individuals have spent a lot of time and
effort helping guide the parish in the past and
we are grateful to them for their years of
service. Thank you!
Finance is working closely with the
Stewardship Committee. We have had very
positive feedback to the Stewardship programs
that we have undertaken in the past two years.
Stewardship has been getting people more
engaged and enthusiastic. Community
awareness of our Parish has also increased.
Our financial year runs from 7/1/14 through
6/30/15. Through the two months ended August
31, 2014 weekly envelope collections are up
slightly compared to the prior year, but are
substantially below budget. Through expense
management we have managed to keep
expenses below the prior year through August.
We have just incurred some significant
expenses for replacing water lines and a major
boiler repair. Next year we will probably have
to replace the entire parking lot.
We are deeply grateful for your generosity and
faith-filled sharing of your financial resources
as we continue to strengthen and grow our
ministries here at Holy Trinity. We promise to
be responsible stewards of the financial support
you give to the work of our Parish ministries.

teaching Masses for an insight in answering the
questions of “why does Father do…” or “how
come Father wears” or “what does that mean”?
All Saints Presentation by CCD on

Nicaragua News
I am happy to report that we have shipped three
40 foot containers (size of semi trailers) of
supplies packed into barrels and boxes and used
items such as hospital beds, dormitory beds,
(donated by St. Lawrence Seminary to the
Seminary in Bluefields), school desks, hospital
supplies, church statutes, altars, and pews, and
many other large items to Bishop Paul Schmitz,
Bishop of the Vicariate of Bluefields (which
includes our sister parish in Waspam, Rio
Coco). Our barrels and boxes marked for
Waspam are then transported to Waspam c/o of
Padre Elvis and Sister Rose Kowalski to be
distributed to area schools and communities.
Many of the large items, school desks, hospital
supplies and beds, large tools, and church pews
and altars are donated by parishes throughout
Wisconsin. It is fulfilling to see Catholic
Parishes and Institutions helping the people in
Nicaragua.
Life in Waspam and Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua
has been difficult as they are suffering a
drought for two years and the pump for the city
well broke in July. The people were advised the
new parts may arrive in December but until
then, no clean water. Because of the drought,
the rice and bean crop have also failed. Please
keep our sister parish in prayer.
I will be flying to Nicaragua on December 26
and return on January 19. My plans are to fly to
Managua on the 26 and onto Bluefields on the
27. Padre Floriano, now pastor of the
Cathedral, will be celebrating his jubilee on
December 28. I will stay in Bluefields for New
Years and fly onto Puerto Cabezas to visit with
Padre Nilo for a week. My last stop will be
Waspam and the new parish on the Rio Coco,
Esperanza. I hope to take pictures of our sister
parishes and areas and schedule the Padres’
visits to Wisconsin in June and July. I will be
missing two CCD and CYE classes in January
but I know that Jenni Bolek and the volunteer
catechists are quite capable of running the
program without the DRE. (well at least for two
weeks).
The priests receive their assignments in
October when they meet with Bishop Paul
Schmitz for their annual meeting. I expect
Padre Elvis to remain in Waspam but will
report if there are any new assignments in the
area.

Stewardship
Oh…and Thank You, Lord for the Gift of my
Parish.
At this time of year many parishioners are
being asked to focus on the gifts they have
received, and the gift of financial support they
intend to give to Holy Trinity. When we think
about blessings present in our lives, do we
remember to say “thank you” to God for the
gift of our parish communities? Do we consider
the teaching, the healing and comforting we
receive through practicing our faith together?
Through Holy Trinity’s many programs, we are
reaching out to those in need; educating
children in our faith, celebrating with families
9
and individuals through the sacraments, visiting
the sick and homebound. Holy Trinity gives us
the gifts of being part of something greater than
ourselves.
Here are some of the ways your financial
support is building our faith community here at
Holy Trinity:
- We baptized 14 new members into our
Catholic Faith
- 19 youths accepted Jesus in their First
Communion
- 20 young people accepted their faith as
adults in Confirmation
- 102 children grow in their faith at Holy
Trinity School
- 134 children increase their faith in our
CCD programs
- 80 teens and young adults learn how to
be young Christians in our CYE
program
- United 5 couples in the sacrament of
Matrimony
- Prayed with and comforted 16 grieving
families as they commended their loved
ones into God’s care
- Brought 16 new members into our Holy
Trinity faith community
- Hundreds of calls were made to the sick
and homebound, bringing God’s
comfort to those who may have needed
it most
Also your healing hands touched lives in this
area through St. Ben’s, Family Promise, St.
Vincent DePaul, and many Human Concerns
projects. Also, many projects have been
completed for our sister parish in Nicaragua.
Your generosity, faithful stewardship and
readiness to volunteer is our faith in action.
Thank you for your continued support of Holy
Trinity parish and its many ministries.
Christmas Book Give-Away
Are you struggling to see what Faith has to do
with everyday life? Is Catholicism still
relevant? What does this mean for our
relationship and our families? As human beings
we are constantly engaging and disengaging in
everything we do. Why? What is the
difference between highly engaged Catholics
and disengaged Catholics? Get these
answers…and so much more!
Everyone who attends Mass on Christmas
Eve/Day will receive a free copy of The Four
Signs of a Dynamic Catholic by Mathew
Kelly as they leave Church. It took just 23 days
to sell 100,000 copies and sparked widespread
conversation. This book promises to answer
questions and stir a new energy within you. It’s
a game changer!
Last year, Holy Trinity gave Mathew Kelly’s
book, Rediscover Catholicism. This book has
been shared with hundreds of thousands of
Catholics nationwide already. Here are a few
things people had to say after reading this book:
- David said, “This book brought my son
back to the Church!”
- Lindsey shared, “I have been away from
the Church for 20 years, but last
Christmas something drew me to go.
On the way out of Mass everyone was
handed a copy of a book and for some
reason I read it. I came back to the
Church because of this book.”
The cost for this book and our 3rd
book in this
series is $2 per book. We plan to purchase 800
books for a total cost of $1,600. Please donate
to this worthy cause, by writing your check to

painted and installed in late June.
A new Cemetery Flag was donated by Dennis
and Sue Bingen and put up in late June. Thank
you Dennis and Sue.

need this summer because of all the rain, Kathy
Schmitt did some watering as requested and

to you doing this again next spring and
summer.
Grass cutting and Trimming went 30% over
our normal budget because of all the rain this
spring, summer and fall. I would like to thank
all those who worked the extra hours to give the
cemeteries this necessary grooming, the
cemeteries looked great. Thank you; Dennis
Bingen, Jim & Kathy Hawig, the Leister family

Stewardship Committee
A Stewardship Prayer Lord, time is Your gift to us. Help me to be a
good steward of this precious gift by spending
it in ways to which You call me.
Listening to You,
Learning about You,
Knowing You,
Being with You,
May my stewardship of this most precious gift
show my love for You.
“Oh…and thank you, Lord, for the gift of my
parish, Holy Trinity. It brings me closer to You,
and it brings me closer to my brothers and
sisters in faith. Help me to support your work,
through my parish community, by sharing my
time in prayer, my talent in ministry and my
financial resources in proportion to my ability.”
Amen
Holy Trinity Liturgy Committee
Thank you to all the parishioners who brought
their Crucifixes to be blessed at the weekend
Masses September 13-14. This will be an
annual event. Because All Saints Day is on a
Saturday this year, it is not a Holy Day of
Obligation. We will again have the “Eternal
Life Tree” at Holy Trinity and St. Michael.
Please bring your pictures/holy cards of your
loved ones to be placed on the tree branch. The
box is available in the Narthex at Holy Trinity
and as you enter St. Michael. The tree branch
will be up the whole month of November.
November 1 and 2 weekend Masses we will
read in the petitions the parishioners from Holy
Trinity and St. Michael who have died the past
year. The names will also be in that weekend
bulletin.

Thank you to Lindsay (Krautkramer) Dahlberg
for scheduling the musicians and singers for the
Masses. Great to see many new faces showing
their musical talents.
Thank you to the group of people who write the
Sunday petitions. They are beautifully written,
have great meaning, and we like how you
change the response instead of it always being
the same.
Our committee has received many compliments
on the music, beautiful banners, and
decorations in church and seeing the American
Flag in the church proper on Memorial Day, 4th
of July, and Labor Day. Thank you
Our committee decided that people just
cannot nail items to the wall or move items
into Holy Trinity Church without the
approval of the Parish Council and/or
Decorating and Liturgy Committee. The
church is getting cluttered. Because of fire
codes, there are areas in church that must be
clear. Also, items placed on bulletin boards
and/or tables in Holy Trinity Church should
not be more than two weeks from the event.
unless approved by the Holy Trinity Liturgy
Committee.
Holy Trinity Liturgy Committee is always
looking for more members. Please come to our
next meeting which will be held on January 27,
2015, at 6:30 P.M. at St. Michael.
Christian Women
We had a very successful LIVING ROSARY
presentation on Tuesday evening, October 14th
.
We would like to thank all who participated in
this presentation: Sr. Isabel (who traveled a
distance to give a talk on the “Rosary”); the 5
women who gave of their time to call the
individuals to partake and make the
presentation a success; the ladies who willingly
and graciously took the time to participate
(many who have continuously done so for
years); the people who joined us from the pews;
and last but not least the donors of the goodies
for the get together in the hall after.
We also wish to “thank” all of our 30 some
volunteers who help us prepare and present the
funeral dinners most welcome to the loved ones
and friends of the deceased of our church and
community. The “Hall fee” is deposited in the
Christian Women account, from which
donations to Holy Trinity, Food Pantry;
transportation for the “Homes for Humanities”,
etc.
