Ephesians Bible Study at Holy Trinity Monday mornings, 9:15 am for 8 weeks.

Starting September 16 (no class on holidays)

Join us for this Jeff Cavins study on DVD. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reveals many remarkable gifts of the Church — as a body, a household, a mystery, a communion, a bride, an army. Register before Sept. 2 if you want a Study Guide (approx. $30.) Register at Holy Trinity by signing the list in the Gathering Area. For more information or to register, contact

Phyllis (306) 949-1709 or Marcie (306) 450-8304

Baptism Preparation Next session is Tues. Oct. 15 at 7 pm. Call Val 306-924-2602 to register. Fee is $20. Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation & First Holy Communion

Registration for these sacraments may be made now by calling Val Magnuson, Pastoral Assistant at 306-924-2602. If your child was not baptized at Holy Trinity Parish, we need the full name and address of the church in which the child was baptized along with a copy of the Baptism Certificate. Registration fee is $50 for one child or $75 for a family. Parent Information Meeting will be held Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 pm in the Church. For more information and to register, contact Val.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The RCIA is a process for adults seeking initiation into the Catholic Church. Weekly gatherings consist of prayer and sharing as we come to discover where God is calling each individual. The process is open to those:

not baptized

baptized in another denomination now seeking to make a profession of faith in the Catholic Church and be confirmed and receive Holy Eucharist

baptized Catholics who have not completed their Christian Initiation (have not been Confirmed and/or have not received First Eucharist)

Catholics wanting to learn more about their faith are encouraged to participate in any of the other faith enrichment programs being offered in our parish.

The RCIA journey involves the faith community as a whole by deepening its own conversion to Christ and by providing a prayerful example of Christian living for those inquiring into the Catholic faith. RCIA sessions begin Wed. Sept. 18 at 7 pm.

For children 7 years and older who have not been baptized, we have RCIA for Children beginning Thursday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m.

For more information regarding RCIA for adults or children, and to register, contact Val Magnuson at 306-924-2602.

54-DAY ROSARY PRAYER FOR CANADA: Join Faithful Catholics around the world in praying for our world and especially for CANADA; for a pro-family, pro-life govern-ment in Canada. Starting Aug 15 (Feast of the Assumption) and ending on Oct 7 (Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary), join in praying the 54-Day Rosary Novena for Our Nation, and finally, on Sunday, October 13, join Catholics around the world in praying a PUBLIC Rosary, with Rosary Coast to Coast. Plan a public Rosary in your community.

For more info on the 54-Day Rosary Novena & Rosary Coast to Coast: https://www.romancatholicman.com/the-miraculous-54-day-rosary-novena/ or contact Michael Zenkawich at [email protected] or Patti Burlock at [email protected] for more information. We can email you a copy of the 54-day Rosary Novena.

"When people say the Rosary together, it is far more formidable to the devil, than one said privately. Because in this public prayer, it is an army that is attacking him. He can often overcome the prayer of an individual, but if this prayer is joined to other Christians, the devil has much more trouble in getting

the best of it."-St Louis de Montfort.

Marathon Run for Visitation House fundraising team running the Marathon on Sept. 8. Fr. John Weckend’s team “The Holey Soles” is training to run in the 19th Queen City Marathon. As coach, Fr. Donations of $10 or more will receive a tax receipt from Visitation House. Thank you for your support. Please keep Visitation House and the marathon team in your prayers. In the 18 years of Fr. John’s involvement in the QCM, he has helped raise over $180,000 for Visitation House, a drop-in centre for women established by the Regina Archdiocese in 2000.
