    History of Pentecost & theBaptism of the Holy SpiritDr. Mary Healy is professor of Sacred Scripture at Sacred Heart

    Major Seminary in Detroit and an international speaker on

    topics related to Scripture, evangelization, healing, and the

    spiritual life. She is a general editor of the Catholic Commentary

    on Sacred Scripture and author of two of its volumes, The

    Gospel of Mark and Hebrews. Her other books include Men and

    Women Are from Eden: A Study Guide to John Paul II's

    Theology of the Body and Healing: Bringing the Gift of God’s

    Mercy to the World. In 2014 Pope Francis appointed her as one

    of the first three women ever to serve on the Pontifical Biblical

    Commission.

    Dr. Ralph Martin is the president of Renewal Ministries and the host of the weekly television program The Choices We Face. He is

    also the Director of Graduate Theology Programs in The New Evangelization and an associate professor of theology at Sacred Heart

    Major Seminary in the Archdiocese of Detroit. He is the author of the recent bestseller Will Many Be Saved? What Vatican II Actually

    Teaches and Its Implications for the New Evangelization and The Fulfillment of All Desire: A Guidebook for the Journey to God Based

    on the Wisdom of the Saints as well as other books and CDs on the spiritual life and the lives of the saints. He holds a BA from the

    University of Notre Dame, an MA from Sacred Heart Major Seminary, an STL from the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate

    Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington DC and a STD from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (the

    Angelicum) in Rome. In December of 2011 Ralph was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI to a five year term as a Consultor to the

    Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization. He and his wife Anne reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

    Peter Herbeck is the Vice President and Director of Missions for Renewal Ministries. He has been actively involved in evangelization

    and Catholic renewal throughout the U.S., Canada, Africa, and Eastern Europe for the past thirty years. Peter is a co-host for the

    weekly television programs The Choices We Face and Crossing the Goal. He also hosts the daily radio show Fire on the Earth. He is a

    frequent conference speaker, has authored When the Spirit Comes in Power and When the Spirit Speaks, and has produced CDs

    about discipleship and life in the Spirit. Peter and his wife Debbie live in Ann Arbor and have four children.

    Sr. Ann Shields, S.G.L., is an internationally noted speaker and author of More of the Holy Spirit, Deeper Conversion and other books

    on Catholic spirituality. She is a member of The Servants of God’s Love, a charismatic religious community established in the Diocese

    of Lansing, Michigan. Sr. Ann was awarded the Benemerenti Medal by Pope Benedict XVI in September of 2012 for service to the

    Church and is a recipient of the Aggiornamento Award given by the Catholic Library Association in recognition of outstanding

    contribution for the renewal of parish and community life. She is currently the host of the daily radio program Food for the Journey.

    Patti Gallagher Mansfield was a participant in the “Duquesne Weekend” which marked the beginning of the Charismatic Renewal in

    the Catholic Church. She is a well known speaker at conferences and retreats for laity and priests in the United States and around the

    world. She has authored several books including Proclaim His Marvelous Deeds, As By A New Pentecost: The Dramatic Beginning of

    the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and she also has many teaching CDs. Patti and her husband Al are liaisons to the Archbishop of

    New Orleans for the Charismatic Renewal and are recipients of the Papal Medal, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice (For the Church and the

    Pope).

    David Mangan was a participant in the “Duquesne Weekend” and holds a Master’s degree in education. He has been active inpreaching, teaching, family life seminars, healing ministry, and leadership training. David has written several magazine articles and

    has co-authored a book entitled Life in the Spirit for Your Kids, and God Loves You and There’s Nothing You Can Do About It. David
