Mission Statement
We, the parishioners of Holy Spirit Catholic Church,
come together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit
to promote the mission of Jesus Christ by reaching
out in service, fostering Christian growth in our
families and spreading the Gospel of Jesus’ presence
in our community and beyond. We recognize the
fundamental importance of faith, prayer, fellowship
and a call to serve others.
Please note that the bulletin deadline is Thursday
(the week prior) at 4:30 p.m. The bulletin is sent
to the printer by Monday prior to the upcoming
weekend. If you have a question contact the office
at (423) 332-5300. Earlier transmission for holi-
days.
Reminder: Due to the Privacy (HIPAA) Laws hos-
pitals are not able to notify us if you or a loved one
are admitted to the hospital. A family member must
notify us if you wish for a priest to visit the hospital
or are requesting an e-mailed prayer request.
Flowers on the Altar and Ambo-To purchase flow-
ers for the Altar and Ambo ($140) for all three
bouquets, ($90) for two bouquets, or ($50) for the
Ambo. Please check the calendar in the Narthex
hallway for available dates. For information contact

Christmas Decorations-The church has looked so
beautiful during the Christmas season with green, red
and white colors. Our volunteers did a fantastic job
decorating. Mark and Judy Speck, Eddie Belko,
Jessie and Julie Pohl, Shauna Lorenzo-Rivero, Geor-
gina Curtis, Mimi Pulliam, Christina Dobson, Ken
Frische, Joe Pietruniak, Cecy Dunning, Aimee Barbre
and Cherry Moreno did all the decorating. Thank you
to all these volunteers who gave of their precious time
to create a beautiful church for this wonderful season.
We will be taking the decorations down on Sunday,
January 12th at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to help.
Holy Spirit will be hosting a Blood Drive on Sunday,
January 26th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Pavilion.
Please consider donating and helping out our commu-
nity.
New sign-up sheets for Altar and Ambo flowers are
posted on the wall in the Narthex hallway. If you
would like to purchase flowers in memory of or in
honor of a loved one please put your information on
the sign-up sheet.
Just a reminder that SVDP is still collecting alumi-
num drink cans. Please place your bags of cans in the
bin down by the pavilion. This is an easy way to sup-
port SVDP and get rid of your cans at the same time.
SVDP is only collecting aluminum cans for recycling.
Please do not drop off steel cans or bottles. All mon-
ies collected are used to help clients with utilities or
rent and food.
Notre Dame High School is now accepting applica-
tions for the 2020-2021 School Year. To begin the
application process or schedule a tour, visit

Snacks After 10:30 a.m. Mass Next Week-Please
drop off a snack to share and come and join us for
fellowship next Sunday after 10:30 a.m. Mass. Please
drop off your snack in the Parish Hall before Mass.
We extend our prayers and sympathy to Linda Frantz
and her family on the death of her husband,
Bob Frantz.
Lost & Found-Please check the Lost & Found basket
in front of the church office for lost items. Several
Children's jackets, hats, and other miscellaneous items
are in the basket. At the end of the month anything
left in the basket will be donated to charity.
