Volunteering
The volunteer orientation on September 19 and September 29 were very well attended. For new parents to our school who were not able to attend these sessions, please contact M. Nick Fatica to arrange for an orientation by emailing him at [email protected]. Returning parents can find the orientation and accompanying forms on our Holy Name website at the following URL: http://www.cssd.ab.ca/holyname/parents/volunteers/ Please remember that every parent wishing to volunteer must complete a volunteer orientation and submit the accompanying documents to the office annually. Take note that there are several forms that need to be completed and accompany the questionnaire.

As always, we accept donations for those students who may not otherwise afford to do so. “Mully” Coming to theatres near you
Holy Name’s “We Day” team is delighted to let you know that a movie about our hero, Charles Mulli of Kenya is coming to Calgary theatres on October 4th and 12th. You may remember, that Charles and his wife, Esther came to our school in May, 2015. During that special visit, this extraordinary couple explained how and why they’ve devoted their lives to saving Kenyan street children. When twenty of those children came to perform for us a year later, students and staff were thrilled with their performance. Children were especially squealing with delight as the talented siblings showed off their acrobatic and karate moves. The Mullis currently have 3,000 street children under their care. Over the last 27 years, Charles, who also grew up on the streets of Kenya, and his loving wife, have saved and transformed the lives of 10,000 children. DON’T MISS THIS MOVIE! GO AND BE INSPIRED!
