St. Patrick Youth Group Visiting Us This weekend, our church will host 40 youth and adults from St. Patrick Church in Colorado Springs. They will stay with us overnight as they travel back to Colorado Springs from their mission trip in Billings, MT. If you see them around, please welcome them with the spirit of Christ and make them to feel at home in our parish.

Summer Singing with the Choir Anyone who likes to sing is invited to re-hearse with the choir before a Mass and then sing with the choir at that Mass. You could participate just once or every week! The choir will be rotating through the weekend liturgies. The Mass schedule with the re-hearsals is below: July 23, Sunday 8:00 Mass - 7:30 Rehearsal Aug. 6 Sunday 10:00 Mass - 9:15 Rehearsal Aug. 19 Saturday 5:30 Mass - 4:45 Rehearsal There are many visitors, summer home own-ers and regular attending parishioners who sing well. This is an opportunity to share your talent. Just show up for rehearsal before Mass ready to sing and have some fun! Hym-nals and special music will be provided. El Uso de Agua Una de las primeras cosas que los Católicos hacen cuando vienen a la iglesia es mojar su mano derecha en agua y persignarse. Este rito es un recuerdo de nuestro bautismo: fuimos bautizados con agua y per-signados. En cada Misa, renovamos las promesas de nuestro bautismo. Es un bautismo que nos trae a la Iglesia.
Gathering Rites Coming together, assembling, is at the heart of our Sunday worship. The reason behind each of the ritu-al actions of the first part of the Mass can be found in this word: gathering. The purpose of these rites is to bring us together into one body, ready to listen and to break bread together. Greeters In Our Lady of the Mountains today, there will be someone at the door to greet you as you arrive for Sunday Mass. We all like to be greeted and wel-comed when we gather for a celebration. If the greeters (and we all should serve this function for one another) recognize that you are new to the par-ish, they will give you a special hello and be sure that you have the missalette or hymnal and participation aids necessary to pray well with the assembly. Use of Water One of the first things Catholic do when they come to church is dip their right hand in water and make the sign of the cross. This ritual is a reminder of our baptism: we were baptized with water and signed with the cross. At every Mass, we renew the promis-es of our baptism. It is a baptism that brings us to the Church.
Celebration after Sunday Masses for Fr. Brian Please join the other parishioners in the Parish Hall after the 8 AM, 10 AM, and 12 PM Masses this Sunday. We will be honoring Fr. Brian for the recent third anniversary of his priestly ordination.

Chuck is a man with a deep love of Jesus and a heart for all who are hurting, hungry or homeless in Jackson Hole. Summer Bible Every Monday Are you getting everything you can out of Sunday Mass? Join Faith Formation Direc-tor, Sarah Beth Barnett, for a summer Bi-ble Study that will help you journey into the Sunday readings. The hour-long study is on Monday, July 10, at 6 PM in the Par-ish Hall. The study will continue every Monday evening until Labor Day. The study does not build upon itself so feel free to drop in as your summer schedule al-lows. Contact Sarah Beth at the parish office with any questions.

Steinach Austria Misikkapelle The Steinach, Austria Musikkapelle (band) is in its 190th year and was founded by a group of 10 musicians in the Wipptal (Wipp Valley) south of Innsbruck. They perform historically Tyrolian music along with international music. All are invited to hear the Steinach Austria Musikkapelle in a free concert on Wednesday, July 26, at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of the Mountains Church.
