Whether you are looking to enjoy some peace and quiet in nature, or are seeking city life excitement, Holland has a lot to offer any kind of traveler. Let’s begin with a walk through the rural parts of Holland: take in some fresh air with blue skies and green pastures while visiting Holland’s windmills. The Mills of Kinderdijk are a sight worth seeing. They were built in 1740 in order to prevent ÀRRGV, as part of a larger water management system. Ever since, they have become one of Holland’s trademarks and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After experiencing the serenity of rural Holland, it is time to check out the city of Amsterdam. There are many museums worth visiting in Amsterdam, such as the Anne Frank House. The Anne Frank House walks visitors through the story of Anne’s life, especially while hiding in the attic of the house during World War II. Museum visitors can see what she wrote, where she lived and what she did during this period of time. The canals of Amsterdam can be seen from the Anne Frank House, so they cannot be missed. There are fifteen bridges which can be viewed from the canal. The city of Amsterdam works hard to maintain and protect the canals. The Canal district of Amsterdam was also added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Whether traveling solo, with friends or family, you should visit the Holland theme park called Efteling, which is fun for everyone. From fairy tales to haunted castles, it is a wonderland of adventure and excitement for children and adults.
