Our goal at La Petite Demoiselle is to offer a unique shopping experience--to restore and apply the original meaning of “boutique” to our shop, as we feel that the term boutique is often misused in present time.

By definition, a boutique is a small shopping outlet, especially one that specializes in elite and fashionable items. The word is French, and simply translates into “shop”. In the strictest sense of the word, boutiques would offer one-of-a-kind products and/ or services; however, recently the term “boutique” has been applied to nor-mally-mass-market items that are either niche or produced in intentionally small numbers at very high prices.

We offer many products and services that are one-of-a-kind and are not read-ily available or easily accessed. With some exceptions, our boutique proudly offers products that are made in the USA.

We invite you to come by and experience our boutique--in the true sense of the word. If you are unable to visit us in person, please browse the pages of our site and see a little bit of what we have to offer; however a large majority of our unique, handmade, one-of-a-kind items are available in-store only.
